Essay On Organic Farming
Crafting an essay on the subject of organic farming is not without its challenges. The complexity
lies in the multifaceted nature of the topic, which demands a comprehensive understanding of
agricultural practices, environmental science, and sustainable living. Unraveling the intricacies of
organic farming requires delving into the principles that set it apart from conventional methods.
Firstly, one must grapple with the scientific nuances of organic agriculture. This involves
exploring the methods of cultivating crops without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers,
understanding the significance of crop rotation, and recognizing the role of organic matter in soil
fertility. The interconnected web of biological, chemical, and physical processes in organic
farming poses a formidable task for the essay writer.
Moreover, addressing the environmental impact of organic farming adds another layer of
difficulty. Analyzing the ecological benefits, such as reduced soil erosion, improved water
quality, and biodiversity conservation, demands a nuanced approach. Balancing the pros and
cons while maintaining objectivity is a challenge that requires extensive research and critical
thinking.
Furthermore, the social and economic dimensions of organic farming must be considered.
Delving into issues like the economic viability of organic practices for farmers, the accessibility
of organic produce for consumers, and the potential for local community development adds
depth to the essay. This requires the writer to navigate through a maze of socio-economic factors
that contribute to the overall complexity of the topic.
In conclusion, composing an essay on organic farming requires grappling with the scientific
intricacies, environmental implications, and socio-economic dimensions of this multifaceted
subject. It demands not only a deep understanding of the principles of organic agriculture but
also the ability to weave together diverse strands of knowledge into a coherent and insightful
narrative.

The Revolutionary Coffee Company, And The Variables
That...
Section One Background
The Keurig case study is an interesting examination of the revolutionary coffee
company, and the variables that will shape the future of the company and industry.
The basis of the Keurig case study is the transition for niche product aiming for the
mainstream success of everyday use by consumers in their homes, to one of the
industry leaders among the coffee industry giants. Keurig had been founded to
commercialize an innovative technology that allowed coffee lovers to brew one
perfect cup of coffee at a time (Hitt, Hoskisson, Ireland, 2016, p.C 87). Hence, the
attempt to create a new segment within the coffee industry would take time, and
education efforts to promote and sell the benefits of the new coffee makers. After 11
years of trying to perfect the desired product the company believed could change the
industry, Keurig was able to develop the K cup.
The K cup brand was built of the idea of the consumer being able to brew a single
cup of coffee at the perfect temperature and superior tasting at the convenience of
their home (Hitt, Hoskisson, Ireland, 2016, p.C 87). As a result, this new product
began to set the market on fire because the new features were never available for
customers, which in turn created the issue of competition. Patents are key to
protecting the intellectual property that generates the sources of knowledge,
technology, and designs used by companies such as Keurig to obtain and maintain an
advantage within the

The Training Section Of Share Point
In order to set up a L48 project there are applications and terms you must know. The
methodology of how I tested a project began with knowing what the AFE group is
and how DSM, SAP, and APB worked. I did this by examining every folder in the
general training section of Share point. When learning what the AFE group is
responsible for you must know what is required for an authorization to take place
and the differences between an AFE and RFE. You must also know what feeder
system each of the business units use. Lower 48 uses DSM, Canada uses Capital
Manager, which both use Automated Project Builder and SAP (Systems,
Applications, and Products). Alaska uses a transaction in SAP called IMA11 to
create and build a project which is manually... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

When the project is verified, accurate, and complete it is then released in SAP and
DSM. When completing this process of setting up a project it came to my
attention that it requires basic training beforehand in each system. Learning how
to navigate through a system and how to conduct a specific function is key before
setting up a project. Knowing the different policies, re open procedures,
cancellation practices, and JE procedures for each business units was also essential
before assembling a project. After I learned how each system worked, I took the
basic instructions that were given to me and tried to construct a new project. I
found many altercations with the desk documentation because I had never
conducted a project before. I felt as though it was a simplified version of how to
install a project for someone who already knew how to. My methodology of how to
complete the desk documentation is to follow along with the basic instructions and
make changes as I worked throughout the project. At first this was difficult because I
usually plan everything out before performing an assignment and have a concise
way of doing it. I have learned that to grasp as you go throughout a project is needed
when the performing different tasks that I did not know of. As I worked through the
project I made recommendations and attached pictures within a word document in
red. When going through the different phases of the project set up I asked members
of the AFE group who were

A Free Spirit of Rebellion, Mason and Dixon Show...
Vineland is set in California in 1984, the year of Ronald Reagan s reelection. The
story details the free spirit of rebellion of that decade through flashbacks by its
characters. The novel describes the traits of the fascistic Nixonian repression and its
War on Drugs that occurred in U.S. society from the 1960s to the 1980s. The central
quest is that of a daughter for her absent mother, and while the process by which the
two are united involves an impressive accumulation of information about
international corporate practices and structures, the history of the Left in California,
the effects of Reaganomics and the War on Drugs, and the popular culture of the
1980s, there are no epistemological impasses or withheld revelations (Hite 719)....

The tension between satisfying our credulity and satisfying our skepticism, as
David Lodge puts it differently energises each of Fowles s first three novels.
Realism can also be seen as an ancestrally impure and precautious synthesis of
history, romance and allegory; and from this point of view character is the
problematising of the relations between its consistent parts that characterize much
contemporary British fiction including Fowles s. The formal agony and hesitation
co exist; with immense formal energy and inventiveness in problematic fictions
such as Doris Lessing s The Golden Notebook, Augus Wilson s No Laughing
Matters and differently in Iris Murdock s The Black Prince as well as Fowles s
The French Lieutenant s Woman. These novels carry the currently inescapable and
romance theories of insubordination. They leave the reader as Lodge has suggested
with a paradox about the relations between art and life. The reality principle is never
allowed to lapse entirely indeed, it is often involved to expose the artificiality of
conventional realistic illusion....This kind of novelistic, I am talking about referring a
loyalty to both (reality and fiction) but later the orthodox novelists and confidence on
the possibility of reconciling them. He makes the difficulty of the task, in a sense, his

Analysis Of Paul Cezanne s Mont Sainte Victoire
One of the most influential painters of the twentieth century was Paul Cezanne. He
was willing to break the traditionally accepted artistic practice in order to better
portray his artistic creativity. Cezanne was became part of the movement that
followed the Impressionists called the Post Impressionism movement. The artists who
were the driving forces behind this movement were Gauguin, Van Gogh, Seurat, and
Cezanne. These artists were placed in this grouping because they were the avant
garde artists of the time period, who wanted to be able to express their emotions
rather than simply representing what they saw. Cezanne s Mont Sainte Victoire seen
from The Bibemus Quarry was painted in 1985. Mont Sainte Victoire is a mountain
that is in the South of France and overlooks the Aix en Provence, which happens to be
the hometown of Paul Cezanne. This work exemplifies the Post Impressionistic
techniques because Cezanne utilized the avant garde techniques, while at the same
time demonstrating the relationship between the artist and the work. This work
embodies the period style because it contains avant garde geometric shapes to define
the forms, colors, and interpretations that were important to the Post Impressionists.
First off, the harshness of the lines goes hand in hand with the shapes that exist in the
work. The shapes tend to be simplified shapes, which demonstrates that Cezanne
wanted things to appear as if they could be broken down. Cezanne utilizes an array of
geometric

Melting Pot Analysis
This essay aimings to compare and contrast the different between a Gorgeous
Mosaic and a Melting pot along with three other essays that will be mention later in
the text. The end goal is to successfully identify and analysis, what is the culture in
the USA and how does it tie in within the topic already mention. In this essayyou can
also view, the difference between the multicultural societies and its people. This will
open up a clear path inside the reality in the American society and the suffering many
immigrants, African and Native American need to go through to fit within the
stenders of the government.
Forcing an individual to fit in within a society is not uncommon; The US does on the
daily basic. All to create something that many like to call a Melting pot or a mosaic ,
let s take the story of an Native American child who thought his life wasn t worth
much because the government was in favorite of creating a melting pot and make
an ideal country. The Melting pot is the part that every person things they are
willingly giving, but in reality they are forced to give away for the sake of the
nation. Sherman Alexie the native american boy who taught himself unworthy
because of the circumstances of his birth; fought to make others like Native
American children like him understand that even if A smart indian was a dangerous
person, feared and ridiculed by indians and non indians alike it was still better than to
stay with a heart full of regrets. A

Sippican Case Study Scm
1.Given some of the problems with Sippican s cost system, should executives
abandon overhead assignment to product entirely and adopt a contribution margin
approach? Why or why not? The overhead spending is greater than the direct
labour costs or the direct material costs for all three product lines Valves, Pumps
and Flow Controllers (Exhibit 2). Overheads are simply charged at 185% constant
for three diverse products. The fact that there is huge variance in the number of
units produced per production run it is 375 for valves and 18 for flow controllers
per production run. This shows the reason for high overheads costtoo. Hence it calls
for checking the cost allocation system of the company.
Since Sippican produces three ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
b)Overheads were first segregated into certain categories like Direct Indirect etc. The
reason for this were different costs and different activity on which they are based.
Then the time taken for each activity was computed and the costs were allocated
based on that.
c)The method showed that the pricing that was being used for the three products
were not correct. The price at which the pumps were being sold was low were high
whereas flow controllers were low. Because of which the most profitable product
was coming out to be flow controllers whereas it was actually the least profitable.
4.Based on the revised costs and profitability estimates, what action should Sippican s
management team take to improve company s profitability?
Ans: a) Increase number of units per production run for flow controllers
Setup for the machine is done for one batch of items. If we look at the the batch size
of valves, it will be 375 units(=7500 units/ 20 production runs)

Importance Of Education In Education
Teacher s make a choice early on to chase the dream and not the dollar. It is not about
the money that is to be made but rather about the minds that can be molded. A teacher
goes through rigorous education requirements to prepare for the many roles a teacher
must play. In today s world, many students are falling through the cracks and teachers
are facing tremendous difficulties leading them to leave, but I want to join the
educationfield so I can take these students and guide them to the right track. I know
that taking Sociology 101 will make me a better teacher.
A basic look at teachers may portray this idea that they simply pass on text book
knowledge to students from seven o clock to three. This is true. Teachers spend much
of their time doing their best to help their students learn the information needed.
However, teachers do much more than that. They spend countless hours preparing
lesson plans, assessing students, reflecting, and caring about their students both in
and out of the class rooms. Teachers become bus monitors, observers, cheerleaders,
and sometimes that one person in a child s life to make an ever lasting difference. To
obtain this powerful position, in Kentucky, a person must first obtain a bachelor s
degree. While doing so, one must complete two hundred observation hours in a
classroom and then complete an internship otherwise known as student teaching.
After that, he or she must pass a series of state tests. Finally, one can now hold the

Questions On Non Financial Firms
1. Introduction
The 2007 2008 crisis started off in August 2007 as a subprime mortgage crisis
primarily concentrated in the United States but quickly metamorphosized into a
global financial crisis where financial institutions teeter on the edge of bankruptcy in
many countries in addition to the United States. A global economic crisis ensues in
which nonfinancial firms around the world appear to spiral downward as well. A key
potential contributor to the plight of the non financial firms is the financial crisis
itself, in the form of a negative shock to the supply of external finance needed by
non financial firms. However, as the two quotes by some leading policymakers and
scholars at the beginning of the paper indicate, the idea that non financial firms
suffer from a strongly negative supply of finance shock is not universally shared. In
addition, if non financial firms do not do well, there can certainly be other causes,
such as a contraction of demand for their products.
This paper has three objectives. First, it aims to develop a simple framework that can
capture and quantify the relative importance of the finance shock to the economic
health of non financial firms. Second, in a cross country context, it aims to
investigate whether the responsiveness of the real economy to a given finance shock
varies by country features that the literature suggests that could matter, such as the
type of a financial system, the nature of a monetary and exchange rate regime, or the
extent

Perioperative Hypothermia Essay
Perioperative hypothermia causes adverse effects in the recovery of a post operative
patient. These well known effects include delayed anaesthetic recovery, increased
incidence and duration of postoperative ventilation, increased blood loss and
transfusion requirements, increased cardiac events, increased surgical wound
infection, pro longed hospitallength of stay (LOS) and higher hospital mortality.
Three reasons account for the commonality of hypothermia post open abdominal
aortic aneurysm (AAA) surgery: (1)thermoregulation impairment due to anaesthesia,
(2) skin surface warming limitation, and (3) ineffective warming of the ishaemic
lower limbs in aortic cross clamping to counterbalance the heat loss from the
abdomen, which is exposed to operating room ambient temperature for a long
period of time3,4. The combined use of a forced air warming device or resistive
heating device and intravenous fluid warming is found to be effective and safe for

Social Attitudes On Sexuality In Ancient And Medieval...
The examination of Ancient and Medieval literature allows for the comparison
between social attitudes that have changed over time, and the attitudes that instead
have stayed the same. This highlights the constancy of gender discrimination over
sexuality, but also the improvement in communication between the sexes, and the
change in women s roles in society.
Throughout history, men and women have always received different treatments
regarding their sexuality. In the Ancient and Medieval world, women were expected
to be faithful and respect their husband s sexual wishes. If they failed to do so, they
were degraded and judged to be the ruin of society. Men, instead, had more freedom to
misbehave, and did not get the same treatment as women. Evidence for unequal
treatment over sexuality is consistently found in texts coming from diverse areas and
times, depicting how this was a widespread phenomenon.
The Oresteia, for example, depicts the difference in expectations over sexual desires.
Clytemnestra was negatively judged and accused for her relationship with her lover
Aegisthus, being portrayed as an unfaithful wife and adding to the list of her
characteristics that defy society s expectations for women. In contrast, when
Agamemnon brought his concubine Cassandra all the way from Troy, he was not
judged. Rather, he was a rightful character, and his wife was expected to welcome
Cassandra into their home. It was Agamemnon to leave his wife and to sacrifice their
daughter, but

The State Of Qatar And The Isaias Afwerki Regime
The State of Qatar, until recently the main financier and patron of the Isaias
Afwerki regime, is now its enemy together with Iran and Turkey, the triad that the
Eritrean regime alleges it promotes the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. In
March 2015, a Saudi led coalition with the United Arab Emirate as its major partner
started a war in Yemen over the Houthi rebellion which has been simmering for
many years. That must have been a boon for the Eritrean regime. Since it came to
power in 1991 after defeating the Ethiopian Derg regime, the rebel group has been
pursuing a goal of becoming a major actor in the geopolitics of the volatile region that
includes Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, Yemen, and the Congo. That overly

That cheap pandering certainly doesn t benefit Eritrea; its only value is simply
reiterating his government s loyalty to the Saudi led alliance, in addition to
appeasing the ultra nationalists among his Egyptian hosts. In October 7, 2017,
Osman Saleh, Eritrea s foreign minister said, Eritrea is opposed to the Muslim
Brotherhood and we do not allow them to come and preach in ERITREA. He
spiced it up and stated, Turkey and Qatar support the MUSLIM BROTERHOOD
[while] Egypt is fighting them. He preempted the reaction of his Middle Eastern
audience by adding Israel to the lot and stating, we are not eager to see countries
such as Turkey, Israel, Iran and others to be involved in the region. In addition,
Osman Saleh affirmed his regime s position, stating that, Eritrea is on a solid path as
it relates to her relations with the region. we feel we have good relations with Sudan
but they [the detractors] are basing their approach by relating it [our position] with
our relations with Egypt. PFDJ S New Guise It is understandable why the Eritrean

The Importance Of Waiting Time To Service
Waiting times to each service for these data sets are shown in
Figure~ef{WaitCAOnly} and Figure~ef{WaitCACombo}, respectively. They
seem longer for patients with larger values of assessment urgency scale; in
particular, levels 5 6. Level 4, in most cases has the shortest waiting times to
services. Patients with an assigned value of 5 seem to have the longest waiting
times. There seems to be two separate distributions for waiting times to some
departments; in which levels 5 6 are not given services as quickly as the rest.
When a clinician was contacted for expert advice, he speculated that AUS level 6
could be a group of patients who were excluded from further clinical intervention. I.e.

It would be expected that higher levels of AUS; being more urgent, would have the
least waiting times to services.ewline Table~ef{AUSDorA} also shows that
there were more patients who died in levels 5 6 than in the other levels. In fact,
level 5 recorded the most number of deaths proportionately. This is also counter
expectation as one would expect AUS level 6 to have had the most deaths.
egin{table}[H] \centering \caption{Number of patients who died in each

Figure~ef{CAOnly} and Figure~ef{CACombo}, it is not clear whether the
patients with AUS levels 5 6 who have long waiting times for the Community
service, say, would probably have had shorter waiting times for the Emergency
service. Therefore, pursuing such an investigation seemed prudent. Waiting times
were calculated by taking the shortest time to any of Emergency, Community,
Inpatient or outpatient. If the

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Cost Accounting
Historical cost can be defined as the original cost of an asset during transaction and
recorded in an organization s accounting record. Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles stated that assets and liabilities must be recorded in balance sheet with
original cost which is the purchasing cost during that time. The historical cost
accounting often used in the condition where prices are constant or change slowly
and yet, it does not affect the purchasing power of an item. There is no doubt on
balance sheetamount because of the historical cost represented how many amount has
been paid or received during the actual transactions. The advantages and
disadvantages of historical cost accounting are discussed as below:
One of the advantages of historical ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Net realizable value is an exist value, an estimate of the amount an asset could be sold
for in its present condition minus disposal costs. Current cost is an input or entry
value, an estimate of the amount that would have to be paid currently to acquire the
future economic benefits of an asset in the normal course of business (Hoggett
Edwards, 1996, p. 669). The advantages and disadvantages current value accounting
are discussed as below:
One of the advantages of current value accounting is relevant for making decisions.
This is because the market value of the current value accounting represents the
current cost of economic transactions. Therefore, the information that provide are
more appropriate and more useful because it always update to the latest information
in market. It is better to use the latest information to make decisions rather than using
previous information for measurement.
On the other hand, current value accounting provides an efficiency measurement.
This is because the profit of the good or services will be separated and recorded as
the business s asset before it sold. The separation of business gain and business asset
must be done to make sure the accuracy of calculation for a

Electron Radiation
Atoms are the microscopic building blocks of all matter in the universe. Everything
around us are made of atoms, including radiation. The centre of an atom is called the
nucleus, it is made of two particles: protons, which carry a positive charge and
neutrons, which have no charge. Electron carry a negative charge and it is outside of
a nucleus. The attraction of these negative electrons to the positive nucleus is what
keep the atomtogether. All the atom of the given elements has a specific number of
protons and neutrons, but sometimes it will have too many of those and become
radioactive and an unstable atom is called a radioisotope. When radioactive want to
be stable again, they must release energy until they get back to a balanced state....

Firstly, the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant leaks radioactive water into
underground and to sea. The effect cause earthquake in 2011. After the earth
quake on June 2011, scientists measured that 5,000 to 15,000 terabecquerels of
radioactive material was reaching the ocean. Since the incident in 2011, scientists
measured levels of radioactivity in fish and other sea life. Several species of fish
from this area had caesium levels that exceeded Japan s regulatory limit for
seafood. Scientists say the groundwater leaks could become worse, but warn
against drawing conclusions about the impacts on sea life before peer reviewed
studies are completed. Secondly, gamma rays can be used in medical treatment to
kill cancer cell. However gamma can be extremely dangerous because they are a
very powerful source of power, if they delivered in an unmonitored and uncontrolled
way they can kill humans, animals and plants. Gamma rays however can also disrupt
the physical properties of materials. They can cause plastics and steel to become
brittle and to eventually break.
In conclusion, radioactivity has both negative and positive aspects. Negative impacts
include the radiation leaking and damage healthy organism or cell during treatment
while positive aspects consist of many different uses in medical science, security and
daily life items. I support the uses of radioactivity because the positive aspects
outweigh the negative aspects and I believe that in the future the radioactivity can be
used positively in many other

Modigliani And Miller s Irrelevance Theory Of Capital...
Capital structure management is a major area of concern for financial economists.
For the previous century various theories regarding the identification and definition of
various capital structure related problems were presented before the world.
Background of the study
In 1958, Modigliani and Miller s irrelevance theory of capital structure pioneered the
modern philosophy against the capital structure management of an organization. This
theory stated that the value of a firm is independent of its capital structure but is
dependent on firm s Income before interest and tax (EBIT) and weighted average
cost of capital (WACC). Modigliani and Miller made the following assumptions for
their theory:

Trade off theory mainly focused on the various combinations of debt and equity to
run a firm s operations. Pecking order theory states three sources internal funds, debt
and new equity as a source financing a firms financial activities. These two theories
deviated from the assumptions of existence perfect capital market and no effect of
financial cost upon the earnings of a firm .
Broad problem area
Working capital management is the management of short term investment in the
organization. This mainly deals with the most liquid assets of an organization.
Capital structure management is a method to investigate how a firm finance its overall
operations and growth by keeping its operations as profitable and risk free as possible.
The capital structure decision is important for any business organizations. The capital
structure is essential because it maximize returns, and its impact, such a decision has
on the firm s power to deal with its competitive environment. The capital structure of
organization is a mixture of different securities....

An Automated Video Surveillance System For Public Places
Although tremendous progress has been made in past decade to detect the unattended
objects especially in public places namely railway stations, shopping malls etc but
still fails to meet the desired requirement. An automated mechanism with robust
approach for detecting objects left unattended in consumer world resulted in
successful commercialization. The successful detection of objectdetection mainly
relies on object extraction and objects classification and based on this approaches a
novel algorithm namely intelligent vision based analyzer for semantic analysis is
proposed for unattended object analyzer. Finally experimental results show good
efficiency and better performance over near competitors for real time consumer
video surveillance system for public safety application in big cities.
Keywords: consumer video surveillance, intelligent analyzer, unattended object,
multiple background model, object extraction.
1. INTRODUCTION
Visual surveillance for human behaviour understanding has been investigated
worldwide as an active research topic. In particular, an automated video surveillance
system for robustly and effectively detecting of unattended objects is increasing the
worldwide attention in many contexts, especially, in the consumer world of
applications. In these systems, it should be a sufficiently high accuracy enabling a
real time performance. Thus, a prime goal of automated visual surveillance is to
obtain a live description of what is happening in a monitored

Introduction
School buses are an embodiment of the grade school experience. No matter who
you are, you have memories of that big, yellow box ferrying you back and forth to
school and school sanctioned events. We think of them as the simplest, stinkiest,
safest set of wheels out there, but what about when they aren t? There are
approximately 130 deaths per year caused by school transportation related crashes
(U.S. DOT and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 2014). Between
2003 and 2012, 174 grade school students were killed in incidents involving school
transportation, 55 of which were in the bus and 119 of which were pedestrians (U.S.
DOT and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 2014). Though many
passengers and pedestrians are affected, the highest percentage of those injured or
killed in these types of accidents are in other vehicles. (U.S. DOT and National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 2014).
These numbers may seem insignificant in the grand scheme, but remember there are
young children and teens riding these buses. Whether they are injured, lost or
onlookers of these incidents, they and everyone around them will be affected forever.
Though major school bus accidents are uncommon, according to the National
Highway Transportation and Safety Administration (Winston, 2014), accidents do
happen, and they don t all have to be horrific crashes. To protect people from school
bus accidents, every incident needs to matter.

That makes PP can be applied in many sectors.
Lastly, PP has a good resistance to fatigue, which means, even PP products had been
used for a long period of time, they will not have a structural damage easily. That
makes the products of PP have a high durability.
5. Usage
From the properties I have mentioned above, we can conclude that PP has a lot of
advantages. And because PP is very cheap, so it has a widely use in our daily lives.
As PP has a high melting point, one of the major usages of it is to produce dishware
or food container, it can also put into microwave for heating without the risk of being
melted or release toxic substances.
Moreover, because PP is very tough, many plastic furniture are also made up of it.
Compare to the furniture made up of metal, PP s furniture can avoid corrosion. And
it is more comfortable than metal furniture because metal will become hot if u sit on
it for a period of time, but PP s furniture is relatively cooler as it is plastic.
Lastly, due to the resistance of fatigue, PP will also use to produce auto parts or
industrial fibers, so it can ensure the risk of breaking down due to fatigue is
minimized, and the cost is also lowered.
6. Misconceptions
From the response of the general public to the plastic pellet incident, we can see that
most of us may have some common misconceptions towards the plastic pellets or PP.

Firstly, the PP itself is non toxic. If PP is toxic, then why

Asian Americans And African Americans
By the time of a century ago, Asian America has been considered lazy and stupid.
So model minority were described Asian Americans as a hard working, Well
educated, successfully minority race. But otherwise it s not the truly idea to
believe in positive model minority because sometimes it s also negative. It s
happened to most of Asian Americans and they realized that, at the start point it s
been 100 percent positive, but when you go along, then it will turn to be negative
and sometime it s hurting you. Even know that the result of the American based on
an untruth of a model minority, the truth is telling a different story. Consequently
Asian Americans are twice as likely to be poor as non Hispanic whites. They also
have an incapacity of reading and writing rate that is five times over those non
Hispanic. So that, how could they say that Asian Americans are hard working, Well
educated, successfully minority race by looking at this situation. It s a
stereotyping that hurting people by looking down on the background, but exactly
they don t. However, the half truth of the model minority has not entirely gone off
the mark. By the estimate of the bureau data Facts for Features: Asian/Pacific
American Heritage Month: May 2014 , there is some truth of thinking that
American is better educated and more successful. For example, The percentage of
Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders alone age 25 and older who had at least
a high school diploma in 2012. This

Mango Street Character
The House on Mango Street For my second quarter book report, I chose to read the
classic book, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. The novel is a
coming of age story about a young girl finding her place in the world. The story
tells about a young girl finding who grows throughout the story. She goes through
puberty. As she is going through this change, she realizes her and her friends are
starting to like the attention of boys. Along the way, she is brought down, pushed
away, and even sexually assaulted. The young girl s name is Esperanza, and she is
trying to find her place on Mango Street. The story takes place over one year, (a
date that is not stated) in a poor Chicago neighborhood for Latinos. The protagonist
in the book is Esperanza, the narrator. Her opposing forces are her neighborhood
and the world. Esperanza is a round character, because she is very outgoing,
experimental, and curious. She is also a dynamic character. Throughout the story she
experiences hormonal changes that affect her feelings, thoughts, and friendships.
Because the antagonist is not a human, it has no character traits. Esperanza feels
like she belongs somewhere other than Mango Street. She feels as if she cannot live
her life to the fullest potential there. She strongly wishes she could leave her
neighborhood behind. She observes other women, and makes new friendships in
hopes to find where she belongs. The friend she gets the closest with is Sally. Sally
is sexually

Crucial To Little Women And Treasure Island Analysis
Crucial to Little Women and Treasure Island is Amy March s and Jim Hawkins
journey abroad which also shows the characters trajectory from innocence to
maturity. Certainly, both novels belong to the sub genre of bildungsroman which
is by definition, a story that depicts a journey from childhood to maturity. In spite
of their different goals and outcomes, it is possible to trace some sort of parallelism
between both journeys as they were indirectly intended to shape their characters in
line with the social norms of that time. First and foremost, in Little Women, Amy s
castle in the air was to be an artist, and go to Rome, and do fine pictures, and be the
best artist in the whole world (Alcott, 2008). In part two of Little Women, Amy
travels abroad to Europe as a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To demonstrate, as she understood that she is only talented, she turned to her
subliminal alternative plan and married the wealthy Laurie. Nevertheless, she sat
her relationship with art as patroness while devoting her own art to the service of
the family. According to Holly Blackford (2011), Amy s journey abroad eliminated
Amy s artistic demon that possessed her for a long time and was depriving her
from being a little woman. Furthermore, she also argues that Amy s voyage has
smoothened her nature and made her more agreeable and this is particularly
evident in her remark that Whenever I see girls struggling along, as we used to do,
I want to put out my hand and help them (Alcott, 2008). Indeed, by contrasting Amy
s earlier selfishness with her selflessness at the end of the novel, it is obvious that
this journey was instrumental in Amy s conversion into a little woman. Nonetheless,
it has also indulged and emphasized her conventionality as evident in her attack on
Laurie in Lazy Laurence. However, in spite of the different goals and outcomes, it is
possible to see a kind of parallel between Amy s and Jim s Journey

The Ethical Basis Of The Healthcare System
Health and healthcare systems interrelate with the economy to determine if
accessibility to health care should be provided based on individual s need or
ability to pay ( Achieving Equity, n.d.). The role of receiving health care is to
ensure that equal access to health services does not differ depending on individual s
economic or social status (Merson, Black, Mills, 2012, pg. 624). To underline this
debate, there are views on the ethical basis of a healthsystem. The first view
discussed on how access to health services is similar to access to other goods. For
example, people in poverty stricken communities receiving government assistance for
clothing or food based off of the economic level. According to this view, every

The French Revolution And The Revolution Essay
The French Revolution was a period of great change it France. It was marked with
approximately 10 years of extreme political, social and economic change, brought on
by a great unrest from the French public, more specifically the third estate. The
French Revolution is often deemed as one of the most pivotal moment in Modern
European and world history. It is commonly referred as a political revolution with
social consequences .It was perhaps one of the most volatile moment in history,
historians themselves often have trouble pinpointing specifically what caused the
revolution, as so many factors played a role in the revolt. The French revolutionwas
an economic revolt but not only itself a fiscal situation as a nation s economy is a
function of their society, and vice versa. As Frances economy switched from feudal
to capitalism, all while their fiscal situation was in a rapid state of decay, this greatly
changed their social situation. The French were being pulled in all directions, a new
direction taken by some and with this changing many, through this we know that the
French revolution was a socio economic revolution.
Too evaluate the impact that that economic situation had in the French revolution we
must look at financial situation pre revolution. Firstly we begin looking at Frances
class structure leading up to the revolution. This class Hierarchy is bases on a system
known as estates of the realm. A system commonly used in Europe since the 13th
century. .In this system

Life Of Pi Lifeboat Symbolism
Yann Martel s Life Of Pi has a story that has a message of how he lived during his
time on the lifeboat, and reveals the true Pi. The Tsimtsum, the boat he and his
family are travelling to Canada on, sinks, while Pi, Richard Parker(the tiger), the
zebra, Orange Juice(the orang utan), and the hyena, are the only survivors. All die
over time except for him and Richard Parker, which have territorial issues. They
then find a carnivorous island, full of meerkats. While Pi is feasting on algae, he
finds out what kind of animal Richard is, which he sees him devouring meerkats by
the dozens. Before he left, he found a tooth inside of a lot of leaves. He then lands
in mexico after he leaves that island, which as he was in mexico, he was interveiwed
by Japenese reporters, which he made up a different story because they did not
believe his origonal story. Yann Martels Life of Pireveals the importance of territory
through the raft, the lifeboat, and the whistle he uses to train Richard Parker.

Pi slowly trained and coaxed Richard into sharing the boat with him. As Richard
learned that Pi was trying to take care of both of them, he became more friendly
with Pi. I took hold of one of the beakers, leaned over, lowered the lid just as much
as I needed to and tremulously dipped the beaker into Parker s Pond, four feet from
his back paws. (Martel,92). This is an instance in which Pi is trying to get
rainwater to survive and he has to collect it from Richard Parker s tarp, which is
holding the water. He collects this, then finds solar stills to make the seawater
drinkable. Pi needs to be careful of Richard Parker while he is taking water from
him, although this is after he trained the tiger. This shows how dangerous at first the
lifeboat was with Richard on it, even if it was to help them both

The Wizard Of Oz Character Analysis
Cheris Kramarae once said, Feminism is the radical notion that women are human
beings. According to Merriam Webster, Feminism is defined as the belief that men
and women should have equal rights and opportunities The ideal female character is
normally depicted as weak and vulnerable in comparison to men, but truly it is not
the case. In L. Frank Baum s The Wizard of Oz, the main character, Dorothy, is
portraying the role of an independent femaleas opposed to the typical damsel in
distress. She unintentionally kills the Wicked Witch of the Eest and is praised as a
heroine in the land of Oz. Dorothy is the complete opposite of the ideal female
character. She is portrayed as self reliant, strong and peaceful all throughout the story.

When captured by the Wicked Witch of the West, she orders a pack of great
wolves to tear her and her companions to pieces. The Wicked Witch of the West
says, one is of tin, one of straw; one is a girl and another a Lion. None of them is fit
to work, so you may tear them into small pieces (Baum 87). Dorothy, the
Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Lion are all depicted as weak and unable to work.
However, this completely defies how Dorothy is portrayed as powerful and self
reliant throughout the story. The witch labels her as just a girl, when she really is
much more. She is going on this journey enduring several obstacles and
companions to finally get herself back home to Kansas. This shows her true
dedication and care for not only herself, but others. Lastly, Dorothy shows her
assertiveness and courageousness when she kills the Wicked Witch of the West.
Dorothy cries, You are a wicked creature ...This made Dorothy so very angry that
she picked up the bucket of water...dashed it over the Witch, wetting her from head
to foot... The witch cries, In a minute I shall melt away (Baum 96). Dorothy defies
all odds as she rescues and saves herself, yet again. She shows her independence
and courageousness as she kills the Wicked Witch of the West and frees the people
again. She defies the ideal helpless damsel in distress and creates a strong
independent female character that is the basis of this story. Without Dorothy as the
heroine of this story, the land of Oz would be doomed.

The Tortula Curtain Analysis
With immigration a hot topic in modern media, novels like T.C. Boyle s The Tortilla
Curtain are helpful texts for discussion. The Tortilla Curtain is a satiric approach to
addressing the immigration problem of the United States, as well as addressing the
racism and xenophobia perpetuated by white Americans living close to the border
with Mexico. The novel revolves around two contrasting couples: white liberals
Delaney and Kyra Mossbacher, who lead cushy lives of ignorance and luxury in the
Arroyo Blanco Estates, and Mexican immigrants CГ Ўndido and AmГ©rica RincГ іn,
who live in the actual canyon of Topanga Canyon and struggle to even put food on
the table. As the story progresses and the parallels between these two couples lives

He recycles, he hikes, and he writes a column for Wide Open Spaces called Pilgrim
at Topanga Creek, in which he details his adventures and even advocates for change.
His advocacy grows closer to home, however, as the prevalence of both coyotes and
Mexican immigrants overwhelms him and the rest of the inhabitants of Arroyo
Blanco Estates. Originally very liberal, Delaney s morals are transformed
dramatically by the end of the novel, shifting from idealistic liberalism to gritty
conservatism. In The Tortilla Curtain, the coyotes are a symbol for immigrants and
white fragility, jumping their fences and stealing their handouts. They represent the
caricature with which Arroyo Blanco residents associate immigrants: violent,
unpredictable, and wild, tricksters who roam the earth and find resources where there
are none. As the novel progresses, Delaney s antipathy against coyotes corresponds to
his waning sympathy for Mexican

Action Pact Movie Essay
The drama, action pact film, Hidden Fortress directed by Akira Kurosawa, is
Kurosawa s most fun film. Hidden Fortress is the most mainstream and entertaining

With the use of camera movements and blocking, Kurosawa is able to communicate
to the audience the value of a character. For example, look at the opening shot of the
film. The camera follows the two squabbling peasants from behind. The movement
and blocking of both of the actors and the camera fluctuates a bit and you can tell that
something important is about to be uncovered that will be an important distinguishing
factor for the rest of the film. This opening shot also provides insight to the audience
about the rest of the film. Another technique that is used that brought this film to its
full potential was the editing. Kurosawa used his editing skills to tell the story.
Every cut that was made took effect. When looking at the battle scene, the majority
of the shots were action packed and were quick cuts for the progression of the battle.
These edits were made to intrigue the audience and to help them make insight of not
only the plot, but also what was going on. Using such edits created lively movements
that help to create visual interest for the audience and kept them on the edge of their

Tobacco Industries And The Tobacco Industry Essay
Smoking can most easily be defined as the most harmful habit to the human body.
This is one of the biggest problems today that are killing people in the United States
and around the world. Big tobacco companies are making billions of dollars off of
people dying and getting people hooked on cigarettes or any tobacco product. Many
states are now challenging these companies by raising the tobacco age so young
adults and teens will not become hooked or be dependent on tobacco. For tobacco
companies young adults and teens are their main target audience that they depend on
them so that cash keeps pouring in. Tobacco companies kill their best customers.
Specifically, I am addressing the question: In the U.S., to what extent do age related
restrictions on the marketing and sale of tobacco products affect the major tobacco
industries and their customers?
Largely thanks to the importance of education and anti smoking campaigns, the
prevalence of smoking on young adults is decreasing, but with new inventions such
as vaping and e cigarettes this could backfire (Kendall, 2013). Nonprofit
organizations such as ASH: Action on Smoking Health which enforces tobacco
control on a global scale to protect health and counter the tobacco industry.
Envisioning a world free of tobacco related damage, disease, and death. By taking
action to educate the public and working towards public policies at the local, national
and global levels (ASH, 2016). which Thus cigarette smoking kills more than

Mind And Soul Essay
Mind, Body and Soul
Our mind, body and soul are deeply connected. How many of us actually aware
about this connection? Surprisingly, many of us are not aware about this
connection. The truth is that this connection between the mind, body and soul
exists within us, right here. We are so busy in our day to day schedule that we don
t get time for ourselves. It s only when you have spare time or rather idle time, when
we relax and think about ourselves and our life. It is very important to take time for
retrospection and reflect on our life.
It is also very advantageous if we recognize the connection between the mind, body
and soul. This is so because it can actually be used to our benefit. Research has shown
that if you cultivate the mind, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The mind is an intangible part of our body where thinking, perception, memory,
consciousness and judgement take place. The mind is connected to the body deeply.
They continuously communicate with each other. Nerve impulses are sent to the
brain and the body reacts in the form of biochemical reactions. Whenever something
is going on inside your mind, there is an instant response from the body.
You might have noticed that when someone tells you about a mishap, you feel
uneasy. It could be in the form of stomach cramps, heaviness or headache. The
simple reason why our heart feels heavy when we receive the news about the loss of
a loved one? That s your body s way of responding to the grief felt by the mind.
Likewise, when we get good news, we get butterflies in our stomach. Our heart sings
with joy, when we get a new job or when we buy a new property.
It can be said that our emotions and feelings affect our health. Research has
indicated that majority of health problems faced by a person, are actually a result
of some mental tension or trauma. Be it a small or big, any incident that evokes our
emotions, affects our health. If your little one is unwell, you feel a pain in your
heart. You might experience a loss of appetite because you can t eat while your child
is going through pain.

Early American Imperialism
This part of the story began, not in the Americas, nor in Europe, but in the Middle
East. Carrying the message of the new prophet Mohammed out of the Arabian
Peninsula, Muslims began making major inroads into western Asia and northern
Africa in the seventh century, eventually encroaching on Europe s southern and
eastern frontiers. In 1095, Pope Urban II responded to a request for aid from the
Byzantine emperor, whose dominions were under attack by Muslim invaders,
launching the era of the Crusades. For two centuries, European based Christians
battled with Muslims in the Holy Lands and elsewhere. For the elite classes who
engaged in crusading, provincialism died away, replaced by new information and
contacts in the wider world. Soon Europeans would begin turning this new knowledge
and these new tools against the people from whom they were appropriated.... Show

With the aid of crusaders, Portugal attained independence in 1147. By 1380
Portugal s King John I had united that country s various principalities under his
rule. In Spain, unification took much longer, but in 1469 Ferdinand and Isabella,
heirs to the rival thrones of Aragon and Castile, married and forged a united
Spanish state. Twenty three years later, in 1492, the Spanish subdued the last
Moorish stronghold on the peninsula, completing the Reconquista. At the same
time, other European states were also waking up to new realities. Consolidation
began in France in around 1480, when Louis XI took control of five rival provinces
to create a unified kingdom. Five years later in England, Henry Tudor and the
House of Lancaster defeated the rival House of York in the Wars of the Roses,
ending nearly a century of civil war. As in Spain and Portugal, the formation of

Analysis Of Quiet Strength
Discovery Professional football coach, Tony Dungy, is a man of honor and
strength throughout his book Quiet Strength . Overall, Quiet strength is a memoir
of Tony Dungy s life which captures his discovery of what it means to be a Godly
leader, on and off the field. Tony s upbringing set him up for a lifetime of
possibilities which allowed him to go farther than most. In addition, Tony
discovers that listening to God as well as who he has put in our lives will give him
peace together with wisdom through his son s tragic suicide, and media fiascos
with players. Personally, I connected with how honorably Tony handled his son s
suicide, especially with the stigma in the christian community regarding suicide.
Tony Dungy s childhood was different than those around him. His parents raised
him with the belief that whatever he wanted he could achieve, including college
while his classmates believed that they would grow up and work at a factory. Tony
grew up in an uneducated town with educated parents who made it their mission to
help kids be their best. For this reason, Tony s upbringing gave him the ability to
view the world exceedingly different. Unlike other coaches, Tony doesn t give up on
his players, he sticks with them by trying different ways of explaining plays. This
goes back to his mom s discovery that all students could succeed with the right
instruction, which in turn influenced Tony to see the world a little bit differently than
everyone else. Furthermore,

study investigating risk factors for cardiovascular disease in a poor, rural county in

Several socioeconomic factors have been investigated to explain these phenomena,
including the effects of living in rural areas, income and educational levels, and
family (marital) status.
Armstrong reported on the changing trends in mortality rates, comparing white urban
African American female adolescents in states (all regions) that were classified as
rural in 1940 and rural, moderately urban, or strongly urban in 1980. Their findings
indicated that, in 1980, rural white urban African American female adolescents had
higher mortality rates from heart and cerebrovascular disease than urban African
American female adolescence. In a separate study, Greenberg reported finding more
African American female adolescence (who live in urban area) compared to
caucasion female adolescence (who live in suburban areas and hypertension among
rural African American female adolescents, findings suggesting causal links between
African American female adolescence (who live in urban area) compared to
caucasion female adolescence (who live in suburban areas and higher mortality rates.
The results of a 1993 national survey, the Multistage Telephone Survey (N =
387,704), however, identified conflicting differences in prevalence of African
American female adolescence (who live in urban area) compared to caucasion
female adolescence (who live in suburban areas according to geographic regions. In
1993, the percentage of urban African American female

Macroeconomics Trend Analysis of Aluminum World Demand. Export and import
of the fused aluminum has a high sensitivity to the macroeconomic situation in the
industrial sector of the world economy. The price volatility depends on the
industrial demand for the aluminum. Global demand is leading by China and
emerging markers economics. However according to Alcoa Outlook for aluminum
Plattes Metal the demand has the downward sloping curve. Global demand growth
in 2010 was 13% compare to the data in 2011was 12%. The biggest demand for the
aluminum products comes from China. In 2011, China experience the deficit of
the aluminum consumption compare the rest of the world was the surplus. The
smelting costs curve increased by 26.2% from the 2005 2010 years. Increase in the
production costs increase the aluminum price. According to the trend analysis of

American Judicial System
For the Past 200 years the American Judicial System has been in effect and has
served its country well but not always at its best. Over time we have learned to
interpret the law in new ways that have benefitted the courts positively and
negatively. From the origination of the British legal system to the civil law tradition
of Germany, what more can the American courts learn from their counter parts in
civil law countries? Are there features of the civil law system that we might adopt?
Are there American legal institutions and practices that prefer civil law approaches?
In other civil law countries there are many aspects of the legal systems that could be
evaluated for judicial practice within the United States. First of all to understand the...

Over time loopholes have been found, parties have been cheated by miss
interpretation and improperly presented evidence. As our years go on the system
needs to take certain actions such as adopting new civil laws and procedures in
order to seal up all the cracks that the bad guys tend to slip through. Like I said it
will never be perfect but it desperately needs to be improved. As you have read
there are many things with our system that really need to be fixed and one of the
most important things is giving more power and authority back to the judges.
Allowing the judicial system to work in a less free spoken and loosely watched
environment is going to allow for unlawful outcomes and corners to be cut, therefor
if the civil law can be incorporated more often in cases and with the judges than the
system can continue to be efficient and adapt to new cases at hand which will give
justice and peace to the public in knowing there cases are being handled efficiently
and by the

Fight For The Last Slice
Nowadays, as human activities have increasingly negative effects on the environment
and critical resources, the ideology of being environment friendly is widely
advertised around the world. As a result, producers try to advance green capitalism to
urge consumers to purchase their ostensibly environment friendly products to help
the environment. This article examines how the following image Fight For the Last
Slice is related to green capitalism and how the producers greenwash their non eco
part.
Firstly, there is some brief analysis of this image. This is a print ad of a Spanish
pizza restaurant, Pizza Love. From the large white bold FIGHT FOR THE LAST
SLICE , that this advertisement is more focus on an economical lifestyle, which is
what the restaurant wants to introduce to their consumers. The round pizza can be
seen as the world, and the green cauliflowers on that veggie pizza represent the
forest resources. The last slice of veggie pizza represents a serious environment
situation in the world, which raise the consumers awareness of environment
protection. The words in the bottom left corner below the red logo We make pizza
not global warming and 100% recycled boxes try to show that Pizza Love is an eco
friendly restaurant, and is really focus on the environment situation.
However, this is just a greenwashing of this pizza restaurant. Greenwashing is
considered as the act of misleading consumers regarding the environmental practices
of a company or the

Social Disadvantages Of Indigenous Australian Students
Furthermore, it has been established that the continuousness of social disadvantage
(Dobia O Rourke, 2011, p.5) for Indigenous Australian students, can act as a barrier
to learning (AIHW, 2014, p.4). Students may become disengaged (AIHW, 2014, p.6)
from a combination of various social factors, and may develop mental health
disorders, resulting in these students avoiding or performing poorly in school. The
ways that Indigenous Australian students are affected by social disadvantages (Dobia
O Rourke, 2011, p.5) vary, however, research suggests that they continue to include a
combination of major contributing stress factors such as low parental income, low
educationattendance, cultural differences (Commonwealth of Australia, 2007), and, a
high degree of chronic health conditions in the family (Telethon Kids Institute, 2006,
p.38). Purdie and Buckley (2010) propose that the lack of recognition by schools of
Indigenous culture and history, the failure to fully engage parents and the
community, and, the ongoing disadvantage in many areas of the daily lives of
Indigenous Australians(p.3), has continued to act as a consequence in the classroom
for Indigenous Australian students. This has resulted in the continued decrease of
educational outcomes for Indigenous Australian students.

A Mercy Thesis
In Toni Morrison s novel, A Mercy, Lina loses her friends, family, and village to
rampant diseases and deadly fire, both brought upon by Europeans, only then to be
hurt all the more by other Europeans who briefly take her in (40). Morrison uses
Lina s experiences in losing her family and villages, and her subsequent ridicule and
abandonment to depict the tragic lives of Native Americans to highlight the
carelessness and cruelty of Europeans like the French soldiers and kindly
Presbyterians that Lina encounters, during the Colonial era (46).
Lina s tribe is devastated by disease, and her village is destroyed by fire, because the
European settlers refuse to treat the Native Americans humanely (24). European
settlers, desiring power, give Lina s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Morrison writes that the kindly Presbyterians who adopt Lina begin their
relationship with her where they scorned native men who simply fished and
hunted like gentry all day showing their disrespect for Native American culture,
referring to Native men as, entitled paupers (55) (42). As Europeans who are
unwilling to accept their customs, they proceed to insult the heritage and people
of the girl they chose to adopt(24). They did not stop here though, as they forced
Lina into their Christianity until, Lina acknowledged her status as a heathen ,
convincing her that she, because she was Native American, was inherently wrong,
and that everything about what her friends and family did was evil in the eye of
God (50). Morrison explains, She learned that bathing naked in the river was a
sin... That God hated idleness most of all... Covering oneself in the skin of beasts
offended God, so they burned her deerskin dress... (56) (36). Unless Lina desired to
burn in hell for all of eternity, which her European caretakers thrust into her mind as
truth, she would have to abandon all that she knew (30). Her traditions ranging from
what she wore to where she cleaned herself were

Identically, Wesker presents the play altogether in small unified place. It takes place
in the kitchen of a famous restaurant called Tivoli (I.2). Each writer prefers his
favorite stage set; a back room, a hotel lobby, or merely a street. For Wesker, it is a
restaurant kitchen that forms a perfect setting (kitchin 76). Although Wesker has
written about different topics, they usually look a lot like a kitchen. The title of his
plays is somehow foodsome and kitcheny (Michael 35) such as chips with
everything, roots, and chicken soup with barley. The Kitchen involves numerous
elements of the setting however simple; a butcher s table, (I.55) gas oven, (I.26)
storage units, (I.43) swing doors, (II.126) and sinks (II.150).... Show more content on

his actions so he expends most of his mental energy to craft his story, it is a life or

5.Why does Bigger threaten Jan with a gun?
Bigger is naturally afraid that Jan might speak a different story than what he told
P.I. Britten, so in an attempt to silence and bully him into submission to stop asking
questions. This however backfires as Jan is not the kind of man who would easily
give up on what he set his eyes on, in this case it was his innocence. Jan is also a
man that doesn t like things too complicated, so when Bigger introduces him to his

Bigger plans to disguise Mary s disappearance as a communist kidnapping. Following
his interrogations from Britten and how he pointed fingers at the communist party,
Bigger decides to forge a note that suggests that the Communists party kidnapped
Mary Dalton. His plan backfires after the Dalton s actually release Jan, believing that
he would give them back their daughter in a trade style, Jan for Mary. As Mary is
dead, and Jan has no idea what is happening, Bigger starts to fall apart as he sees his

canyons known to Earth, the Grand Canyon. Its astounding depth and extravagant
size are both mouth dropping and catching to the public s eye. It is one of the
world s most popular tourist s attractions that lour millions of people from all over

It is also referred to as the water cycle. The Grand Canyon contains water resources
called a spring. The canyon contains numerous amounts of springs. They are also
part of the hydrologic cycle. A spring is a water resource formed when the side of a
hill, a valley bottom or other excavation intersects a flowing body of ground water
at or below the local water table, below which the subsurface material is saturated
with water. (Perlman, 2011) They can live inside any type of rock. The springs held
within the Grand Canyon discharges groundwater, and this groundwater supplies
drinking water to the Canyon s visitors, Flagstaff, the Coconino Plateau, etc. The
Grand Canyon will continue to change over time. However, it is uncertain as to
what continued acts of weathering and mass wasting will do to it. Since the
canyon was developed by erosion, mass wasting and weathering, the constant
shaping of the Grand Canyon will continue. On the other hand, Geologists believe
that the Grand Canyon will be affected by the Colorado River weathering away at
the rock. Over millions of years, weathering, mass wasting and erosion have been
said to form the Grand Canyon. With that said, the Canyon will grow larger, and the
mile deep canyon will greatly increase. Rocks, big and small, will continue to fall
down the Colorado River cutting through more rock layers. It is also predicted that
the Grand Canyon will have a shortage of water supply due to the growing population.

How To Adequate Lions In Rwanda
Standing proud with their thick golden mane lions in Rwanda once ruled the
landscape. After the genocide in Rwanda that started in 1994 the lion population was
completely wiped out, along with the 500,000 1,000,000 people who died during the

hopes that this species that once thrived can thrive once more in the place that they
used to call home.
Where are they going to put the lions?
As important as the decision to place lions in Rwanda again, is the decision where
in the Rwanda to put the majestic lions. Experts tasked with choosing a place where
the lions can being to repopulate have chosen to begin introducing lions the Akagera

Lowell Mills Industry Analysis
Getting chosen to work in the Lowell Mills was a gift many young girls in the
New England States initially aspired to achieve. The Lowell Mills was a group of
factories built in the 1820 s for the manufacture of textiles (GilderLehrman.org,
2015). Increasing population numbers in the United States required more goods
made from cotton that required milling and weaving into useable products.
Expanding on roles women performed during the War of 1812 and wanting
additional compensation and recognition for their work, young girls left their
families and went to work in one of these mills. Enticing the girls with promises of
tolerable working conditions, a formal education, and comfortable living quarters,
the owners of the factories were able to recruit the girls at a lesser wage than what
was paid to men (Tindall Shi, 2013). Eventually rapid growth and unfavorable
working conditions led others to question whether factorywork was the proper work
environment for young girls.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Young girls and women worked thirteen hour days, six days a week in extremely
hazardous, unsafe conditions (Tindall Shi, 2013). As the number of mills grew and
competition increased, the Lowell Mill workers were expected to work harder for
lesser amounts of money and fewer benefits. Suffering from less pay, harder work,
and additional pay decreases, the Lowell Mill employees organized strikes to combat
the treatment they were receiving (Tindall Shi, 2013). Having to organize themselves
to protect the rights they had originally expected; a formal education, exposure to
culture, and the opportunity to use this information to enhance and improve their
lives in the future, was lost when they had to endure the unpleasantness of factory

Media Science And The Abortion Debate
Abortion has always been a controversial topic whether abortion should be legalized
or not for a quite some time. It has sparked numerous debates in many countries
around the world. In most countries, abortion is legalized, yet however, there are
some countries which don t allow women to have abortions. Additionally, if done, the
women will be punished by the law severely. In my belief, I don t think abortion
should be banned, even though it s not healthy for women and their development
(reproductive wise). The consequences and results coming from not allowing
abortion would lead to many women not being able to take care of her child, and
more importantly, not giving her children a normal and healthy life. In this situation,
if the government does not allow abortion, then the children of these women children
might end up becoming socially inept, leading to depression or certain mental
illnesses due to the lack of love and care from their parents.... Show more content on

The Cultural Environment Of Today s Society
This work will analyse and consider the cultural environment in which we are all
subjected to in today s society. Culture doesn t have just one meaning, they vary
depending on where you live, how you live, how you been taught, religion, language
and many others. These are just some of the factors of that create the diversification
of specific types of culture, that we all have to adapt too even if you look at
individualism and collectivism. Businesses of today, also have to changethe way they
operate, to suit and operate effectively depending on where they want to situate
themselves, otherwise problems could arise
Culture can be recognised for nor right or wrong in today s society. We ve become
as a human race influenced by various avenues and ideas of how things should be
done. We all have an ideology that the society we have been bought up is the
correct fashion of which others should follow suit, but that not the case in some
instances. Culture is the shared values of beliefs, values and normality of how
people and businesses should act on in the environment of which we are surrounded
by. This doesn t mean as an individual one has to follow but in some cases as a sign
of respect you ll just have too.
Culture may not be right or wrong but just a matter of opinion, not truth. Society
changes all the time, when society changes the culture does too. 10 years ago the
culture of which we live in used to be completely different. In that space of time we
have changed the way we
