INTRODUCTION The path of a radiologic student is an engrossing tale of development, difficulty, and perseverance in the dynamic field of radiologic sciences, when compassion and precision meet. The rigorous clinical practice and the demanding academic curriculum present radiologic trainees with a multitude of pressures that might affect their physical, emotional, and mental health.

REVIEW OF REALTED LITERATURE Stresses will affect our body in different ways. The stresses have different kind of symptoms like body symptoms, emotional symptoms and behaviour symptoms. Stress can be visible emotionally, behaviourally and physically but all symptoms are different in each person (Freidman & Booth, 1987). But many other facts are there such as family related issues, financial stress, stress due to ego threats, appearance related, stress while bodily changes happen, withdrawal, over burden of too many responsibilities leads to the stressful life. The main causes in the stress factors are like time concerns, fear of failure, classroom interactions, and economic issues are the some of the academic factors for stress in students. Moreover, these factors unlimited expectation of parents upon their children also make stress to the students
REVIEW OF REALTED LITERATURE According to Welle and Graf (2011). Stress coping strategies vary from person to person. found that common coping strategies among college students include social interaction and contact with family on a regular basis. Other strategies they found were getting at least eight hours of sleep, eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and participating in extra-curricular activities. These strategies were found to help students cope with stress as well as increase their stress tolerance. “Although studies are available on the levels of workplace stress and burnout affecting radiographers, little to no research has been conducted to assess the stressors encountered by radiography students” (Mason, 2006, p. 437).
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK This study provides a comprehensive lens for understanding the complex interplay between stressors, coping mechanisms, and psychological well-being within the context of radiologic technology education. Some of them find it hard to cope with the stress and lag behind, while others see the pressure as a challenge to work harder. Stress can lead to disruptions in both physical and mental health. Stress reduction and adopting a healthier life style have been major concerns of the students (Striker et.al., 1999).

HYPOTHESIS Null Hypothesis There is no statistically significant difference in stress levels between radiologic technology students who employ active coping strategies, such as time management and seeking social support, and those who engage in passive coping strategies, like substance use and avoidance behaviors.
HYPOTHESIS Alternative Hypothesis Radiologic technology students who employ active coping strategies, such as time management and seeking social support, will report lower levels of stress compared to those who engage in passive coping strategies, like substance use and avoidance behaviors.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY This study provided information concerning factors that contribute to stress levels of radiologic technology students, as well as their current methods of coping. Understanding factors influencing stress levels of radiologic technology students and their associated coping mechanisms will provide information that may help radiologic technology educators to assist future students with stress management in school and in their future careers.
CHAPTER 2 METHODOLOGY
RESEARCH DESIGN A non-experimental research design is used. Survey research “gather[s] specific information from a targeted group of people” and “involves the administration of a questionnaire to a sample or to an entire population of people to determine the attitudes, opinions, beliefs, values, behaviors, or characteristics of the group being studied”. This design was appropriate for this study.
LOCATION OF THE STUDY 1.Dr. GLORIA D. LACSON FOUNDATION COLLEGES INC., Located in Purok 3, Barangay Castellano, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, 3102. 2. GOOD SAMARITAN COLLEGES., Located in Information Center, Burgos Avenue, Cabanatuan City, 3100 Nueva Ecija 3. WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY-PHILIPPINES. Located in Mabini Street Extension, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija .

ETHICAL CONSIDERATION A cover letter was included with the survey to guarantee that all participants voluntarily participated in the research study without force or intimidation. The letter clarified that participation in the study was entirely voluntary and that participants might revoke their consent at any time while the investigation was underway. In order to conduct the study the researcher uses a questionnaire, the researcher will present two main papers: the first paper which presents the informed consent and the second paper which contains the questionnaire of the study

SCOPE AND LIMITATION SCOPE The study focuses on how students studying radiologic technology use their coping mechanisms to handle their stress. LIMITATION L imited to the willingness of the selective radiologic technology students from first year to fourth year to participate in the study.

SUMMARY The survey conducted across three institutions—Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges Inc., Wesleyan University-Philippines, and Good Samaritan Colleges—revealed moderate levels of stress among radiologic technology students. Common stressors included academic workload, financial concerns, and the pressure of clinical performance. Notably, the difficulty of study material was a significant challenge, particularly at Wesleyan University-Philippines. Coping strategies varied, with spending time with family and friends being the most utilized across all institutions. The reliance on alcohol as a coping mechanism was higher at Wesleyan University-Philippines, suggesting a potential area for health promotion interventions
CONCLUSION The findings indicate that radiologic technology students face a complex type of stress environment, influenced by academic, financial, and social factors. The moderate to high stress levels reported underscore the need for comprehensive support systems within educational institutions. The variation in coping strategies highlights the importance of promoting healthy stress management practices and providing resources that cater to the diverse needs of students.
RECOMMENDATION Academic Support: Institutions should consider implementing programs to help students manage academic workload, such as study skills workshops and tutoring services. Financial Assistance: Enhance financial aid services and provide guidance on budgeting and financial planning to alleviate economic stressors. Mental Health Services: Expand access to counseling and mental health resources to support students in managing stress and developing effective coping strategies.
