HermannEbbinghaus(1913)pioneeredthe
studyof‘forgetting’.Hecreatednonsense
syllables (consonant-vowel-consonant)
(meaninglesswords)totesthismemory.Outof
hisexperimentsonhimselfhedrewacurve
whichis
famously
calledas
‘Forgetting
Curve’.
