UNIT II Lesson I FAMILY AS FIRST SCHOOL
What is family? It represents a fundamental social unit that provides emotional security, a sense of belonging, socialization, and a network of individuals who trust, respect, and commit to each other's well-being.
Why family is our first school? Family is called the first school because it is a child's primary environment for developing fundamental skills, values, and social behaviors.
values Are the standards and beliefs that we live by. This plays an important role in the lives of a person, the people around them, the culture, and the society they live in.

Parent role
Parents play vital role in the value formation of their child. They are the first people that their children encounter so it is from them where they first learn all things. Parents contribute to the development of their children in many ways, providing love, support and guidance. They are the role models of behavior that they want their children to imitate. That is why it is important to teach their children the values of respect, honesty, kindness, love, and faith in God so that they will grow into a better person.
