FAMILY DISORGANIZATION FAMILY Is a group of two or more people that are related by blood, marriage, adoption, step or fostering and who usually live together in the same household. FAMILY DISORGANIZATON Can contribute to the loss of social controls that families usually impose on their members.

Family disorganization MARITAL CONFLICT Can be defined as the state of tension or stress between marital partners as a couple try to carry out their marital roles Incompatible needs of couple, poor communication skills, distorted beliefs, extreme emotional reactions, and negative enforcing patterns can trigger conflicts in marriages.

Family disorganization FAMILY VIOLENCE Is when someone uses abusive behavior to control and/or harm a member of their family, or someone with whom they have an intimate relationship. Includes many different forms of physical and emotional abuse, as well as neglect carried out by family members or intimate partners.

Family disorganization CHILD ABUSE Is the wrongful treatment of a child. It may be in form of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. This form of abuse may also be recognized as the exploitation of a child, as well as the failure to properly care for a child, otherwise known as neglect.
