Farewell speech

To give a speech in front of your juniors you may get some help out of it.

1. FAREWELL SPEECH
Worthy Chairperson, respected teachers, sweet juniors and my honorable fellows, Assalam-o-
alaikum.
Let me start by saying that I am proud to be addressing you today as the student of Institute of
Management sciences BZU Multan.
At first, I would like to dedicate this beautiful evening to a person, who is actually not just a
person, but an inspiration, a role model of integrity and sincerity, Mr. Rao Inayat Karim.
Unfortunately Allah Pak has called him very early but for me he is still among us and will remain
forever.
I am here to express my feelings on the behalf of all the senior students of MBA at IMS
on this special occasion of farewell party. We have spent the best part of our lives in this
glorious institute, we have seen over here the sun rise and then sun set and then sun rise and
sun set, but all those days are about to complete now.
At this stage we all seniors are ready to go our own way and it will be absolutely different for
everyone. Most of us will move to other cities rather other countries, some of us will never
meet again but all we can do for each other is the pray from deep heart.
No one remembers the words spoken by someone or the gifts given by someone but everyone
remembers the way you let them feel and I am extremely thankful to all my juniors for such a
great farewell, you really made us feel very special. You are the best ones. You really deserve the
respect I am giving you all on behalf of my class.
It is said there is no success without a loss. This is strange world. In order to achieve something
we have to lose many things. Some lose their health, some lose their wealth, and some lose
even their lives. We are also losing such a lovely, soothing and loving company of our dear
teachers who are the constant source of spiritual inspiration, satisfaction and
encouragement for us.
IMS remained a big learning experience for all of us. Here we realized that our primary
purpose is to study, gain knowledge and life experience. So, we can make most of
opportunities that are open to us.

2. In my life I realized that world doesn’t owe anyone a favor. It is you by work hard can get
everything in life. What I would say is this; “the harder you work the luckier you become”
sometimes luck does not depend upon the work but upon the will power. Whatever it is, but you
need to work hard the reward will be certain.
At the end of my speech I want to share some lines with my juniors,
“Don’t wish for the best alone,
Move towards it and grab the excellent.
Never give up on the first attempt,
Life is all about being best,
Aim for it with your strength,
The smile of success in the end.
