WHY EXTENSIVE READING? ER can improve students' reading ability (Renandya, 2010; Nakanishi, 2015) ER had significant impact to the learners’ reading rate (Park, 2017) Extensive reading might also foster learning autonomy and reading for pleasure (Yamashita, 2013) ER may build more positive reading attitude (Hamoud & Smith, 2009). ER is beneficial as a good outlook and motivation, increased vocabulary, improved language and literacy skills, increased conceptual knowledge, and improved thinking.(Grabe, 2009) ER may be "the single most prominent way to enhance language proficiency" (Maley, 2005).

GRADED READERS Graded readers are story books written for English learners written with various level of difficulty (vocabulary & grammar). level 1 : starter/quick starte level 2: beginner level 3: intermediate level 4: advance level 5: native like land so on
