NUR470 Course Description The purpose of this 11-week clinical course is to provide students with an opportunity to further develop their nursing knowledge and entry-level Registered Nurse competencies. The focus of practice will be on integration of theoretical understandings from entry and senior year courses to a selected clinical practice area under the supervision of a preceptor and faculty advisor, including competencies related to workload management and priority setting . The course will also assist students in preparation for registration exams. All previous program requirements must be successfully completed prior to beginning this final course. The course will run from April 10 to June 27, 2019 ________________________________________

College of Nurses of Ontario.. Beginning the Application Process Applying to the College is now an online process. The application process for most Ontario nursing graduates begins when your nursing school informs the College that you are about to complete your program. After that, the College will send you an email to advise you to create an account through the online portal . When you create your account in the online portal, make sure that your personal information is correct and that it matches the name on the supporting documents you submit to the College. If your name has changed, you should submit a request for name change to the College. Requests for name changes must be accompanied by copies of legal documentation supporting the change. Once you have created an account, you can begin your application by logging in and clicking on “create a new application.”
