MIND OF CHRIST - WEEK 3

1. Philippians 2:5-11 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness .

2. Philippians 2:5-11 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name ,

3. Philippians 2:5-11 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father .

6. “Whose mind do you want to have?” Einstein, Plato, Jose Rizal, Bill Gates, Henry Sy , Steve Jobs

7. “All Christians must have clear answer…the mind of C hrist.”

8. “This message is a big help to our MENTAL HEALTH, POSITIVE MINDSETS, AND SUCCESS OF OUR PDP, EXCELLENCE IN OUR CALLING AND CRAFTSMANSHIP.”

9. First week: Becoming like Christ … Romans 12:2   Second week: Experiencing freedom in C hrist … Matthew 6:33

10. Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will .

11. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

12. John 8:31-36 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." They answered him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free ?"

13. John 8:31-36 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed .

14. John 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free ."

16. 1 . LUSTS     “God’s desire is to move your lusts from sinful to purity “ 2 . HABITS   “God’s desire is to move you from being careless to Spirit-controlled“

17. 3 . LOYALTIES  “God’s desire is to move you from being scattered to being prayerful” 4 . RELATIONSHIPS   “God’s desire is to move your relationships from serving self to serving God"

18. 5 . PREJUDICES   “God’s desire is to move your prejudices from being accidental to being scriptural"   6 . AMBITIONS     “God’s desire is to move your ambitions from  honoring  self to  honoring  God”

19. 7 . DUTIES    “God ’s desire is to move your duties from compulsion to eternity“   8 . DEBTS     “God’s desire is move your debts fro the temporal to the eternal"

20. 9 . POSSESSIONS     “ God’s desire is move your possessions from ownership to stewardship "   10 . FEARS      “God’s desire is to change you from being the one who is self-protective to on who finds his only security in Christ "

21. 11. WEAKNESSES      “God’s desire is to move your weaknesses from being tools of satan being tools of God."   12 . HURTS       “God’s desire is to move your hurts from producing resentment to producing love .“

22. A PROCESS TOWARD FREEDOM 1. List your desires 2. Identify conflicting desires. (Desires that are not glorifying to God) 3. Get rid (renounce) of wrong desires 4. Receive Christ's desires 5. Decide to follow His desires.

23. A PROCESS TOWARD FREEDOM 6. Do the process seriously. 7. Do the process carefully. Don't rush. 8. Do the process responsibly. Don’t give up your responsibility. 9. Do the process with the application of the 5d’s of success.
