Objectives: Identify the approaches to Filipino Philosophy. Identify indigenous folktales, rituals and practices from various indigenous communities in the Philippines and determine particular perceptions, experiences and worldviews that they exhibit. Appreciate Philippine indigenous philosophy and worldviews. Discuss Filipino spirituality and the different religious practices in the Philippines. Identify indigenous communities in the Philippines and discuss their spiritual belief system.
Sub-topics: Epistemological frameworks (ways of knowing) Ontology (understanding of existence) Worldview (relationship between humans, nature, and the spiritual realm) Rituals, ceremonies and cosmologies.
