Introduction AGAY-AYAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL For students to develop meaningful, lifelong learning, education must be inclusive and holistic. In a kid-friendly setting, Agay-ayan Elementary School fosters student-centered learning and cross-curricular learning. N W C P Barangay Agay-ayan, Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental is where our school is situated. There are 403 male and 356 female among its 759 total enrolled students. There are 27 teachers, 3 non-teaching personnel, an assisting principal, and the school principal. It is a public institution located in the West III District of Gingoog City.

NWCP School Launching With the help of our school principal, Mary Neva Grace C. Chipada , and wellness coordinator, Juville Jane S. Tolentino, AGES successfully started the Nestle Wellness Campus Program on September 18, 2024. 90% or so of the parties involved. NWCP Testimonies School Wellness Coordinator's Testimony As the NWCP coordinator of AGES, I came up with a programs that will give learners the capacity of achieving healthier lifestyle. According to parents that they have the capacity of having a healthy meal not because the lack of food in their table but because of the knowledge on what kind of food to serve and how to have a healthier body. They were lucky enough to experience this programs in AGES because their children can now handle eating good and nutritious food. Almost everyone in the school population is implementing the programs that will improve healthier body and mind. As the school principal of Agay-ayan Elementary School, I am grateful with the Nestle Wellness Program. This initiative has scientifically enhanced our learners’ understanding of nutrition and healthy lifestyle. The program has fostered a sense of community learning as families participate in wellness challenges together. Mrs. Tolentino, school wellness coordinator then conducts the brainstorming and planning with the other teaching staff regarding the implementation of the NWCP. It was decided that the launching will be after the SPTA General Assembly. The school implements the modules, dancercise and the projects for the benefits of our learners, parents, teachers, and community. Healthier Actions Project 1 Name: Water Alarm & M.E. (Milk Everyday) Drinking water and milk are both important for maintaining good health, but they serve different purposes and offer distinct benefits. As we start this WATER ALARM & M.E . (Milk Everyday) campaign make sure in our school students are well taught and aware of the importance of drinking water and milk in school and at their homes. Objective: Promote milk and water drinking habit, encourage at least 85% of the children of AGES to put into practice the drinking of milk and water regularly through this Water Alarm and M.E project. Mechanics: The pupils will be encouraged to bring their personal water bottles. The school bell will have a special ring/ alarm every 9:00am, 11am, 2pm and 4pm. Every ring/alarm the pupils are reminded to drink water. This will be for the entire school year. For MILK EVERDAY project, identified wasted pupils only from Grades 1-3 will have free milk every month as part of their feeding program, by School Based Feeding Program in the Division of Gingoog City. Healthier Actions N W C P AGAY-AYAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Eat the correct portions according to age in order to receive the right amount of nutrition in body and mind. By this, it helps them balance their meals and get the right amount of nutrition needed in their bodies. Our school makes sure that our students understand the value of wellness in balanced meals as we launch this PROJECT HIMSOG-LUSOG . During feeding programs, we taught them what’s inside the “ Pinggang Pinoy ” and how it will contribute to a healthier body and mind. Furthermore, we make sure our school canteen has enough food that provides healthy snacks. Objective: Practice good eating habits from the month of August to April based on “ Pinggang Pinoy ”. At least 85% of the children especially the identified wasted pupils to normal weight and to eat the right amount of food such as vegetables based on its suggested portions during the feeding program. Mechanics: Getting the nutritional baseline status report at the beginning of the school year, 1 st week. The identified wasted pupils are considered as one of the feeding program recipients. Conclusions & Recommendations Conclusion: Nestle has led the way in encouraging wellness and health in communities and schools. Nestle has made nutrition education, exercise, and general well-being a priority through its creative health and wellness initiatives. Through partnerships with many stakeholders, Nestle has produced a number of advantages, such as increased health consciousness, better education, healthier lifestyles, and long-term effects. In conclusion, Nestle has sparked progress and helped ensure that everyone has a better, more sustainable future. Its creative and cooperative strategy has had a big impact, leading to better health awareness, better education, healthier lifestyles, and long-lasting effects.
