❖An 36 yr. Ex-State Level Power lifter Saleena an active SHG member
❖Won several medal during her sports career
❖Financial Status was very bad at the time of marriage so was not able to pursue sports as
career
❖Get involved in Self Help Group named as Meera Mahila Samuh in 2016
❖Started her own Kirana Shop in 2017 with the initial capital of Rs. 25,000

❖Total sale initially: Rs. 900 per day Profit: Rs. 500 per day
❖Took loan from private company as well as SHG for starting the livelihood
❖Built toilet by saving money by herself.
❖Changed view of her family after becoming self-dependent
❖Provide better education to their children
❖Changing the mentality of other people and providing financial literacy to other women
❖Encouraging other women to start their own livelihood opportunity and in formation of
SHG group
❖Need to open a sport stadium to provide the power lifting training to the Asan Kala girls

presence of coal ash in the air
●Reduction in farming activities due to the
becoming Industrial development area
●Small role in decision making and issue
handling to the women panchayat member
