POCSO AMENDMENT 2019 Penetrative sexual assault: punishment was increased from seven to 10 years and for children under 16, it was increased to 20 years to life in prison plus a fine Aggravated penetrative sexual assault: death penalty Child pornography: zero tolerance
POCSO AMENDMENT 2020 Child pornography: any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a child including photos, videos and computer generated images Reporting ; not reporting is punishable Child friendly measures: ensures that all perpetrators are punished Support person: the child welfare committee can provide a support person
