The Future of technology by: Muhammad Hamza Qureshi
Introduction Its terrifying how fast time Flies by. Humans were mind blown by the invention of modern Smartphones but now it has become really common. That’s how quick Technology has developed. In the coming decades technology is going to evolve at an even faster rate.
Artificial Intelligence AI will create 58 million new artificial intelligence jobs by 2022
Artificial Intelligence Whenever we think about the future of technology, we always come up with robots, but many A.Is are not even in physical form but just appear digitally like Alexa and Siri. They can take data, analyze it and then learn from it and keep on increasing their intellect. They are already helping us in things like financial reports or being virtual nurses for patients. In the future we could be talking about our A.I robots at our homes which can cook for us or do our laundry or maybe even do dangerous jobs like being a firefighter. A.I is already combining with every single modern technology and all the technologies of the future.
Tactile Virtual Reality This future based technology is for all the gamers out there. This concept will need a person to wear a bodysuit with sensors, VR goggles and VR controllers. This will let a person feel the experience of a game as well as see and hear it. This technology will be useful in sports training and gaming while it would also be able to help in training of surgeons in simulated programs for practicing complicated surgery.
Living Robots “Xenobots” assembled from frog cells.
Living Robots Living robots are made of a real living tissue and could revolutionize medicine. Xenobots are type of living robots assembled from frog cells. They are programmable organisms that works independently. Intelligent robots can detect suspicious networks run by hackers.
Energy-Storing Bricks These 'smart bricks' are charged to store electricity, sort of a battery
Energy-Storing Bricks Say no to extra wires in the house because soon instead of wires, bricks will be used as a storage of electricity They contain iron oxide that’s also the chemical that makes them red, allows them to do this. The science on this is still in its early stages but a proof-of-concept brick has been developed. They can store renewable energy and because of that energy consumption will reduce drastically.
3d Printing 3D printing will have a significant impact on global supply chains, decreasing complexities, saving on production costs, enhancing lead times and improving time-to-market.
3d printing 3D printing is a method of creating a three dimensional object layer-by-layer using a computer created design. 3D printed organs are being made which means that people won’t have to wait for an organ transplant. In China, they’ve printed an entire 3D printed an entire apartment block which means in future—3D printed buildings could bring down the cost of housing and solve a huge issue of homelessness. Also, 3D printed rockets might be on the way. Nasa has already made a 3D printed rocket injector and the California-based company relativity space aims to make the first fully 3D printed space rockets for a fraction of what they cost now. By throwing a bit of more into the mix the technology will be able to detect the faults in the design and improve on them.
Self-Driving Vehicles Self-driving cars can be a source of life-saving technology
Self-driving vehicles Tesla by Elon Musk are already on the market. So far what’s being done is only the tip of the iceberg for Tesla and other companies, the goal is level 5 automation that means there is no steering wheel or pedals—the passenger just inputs where they want to go and the car does all the work. It means we could be looking at a future where people don’t own a car instead there are just fleets of self driving vehicles on the road which you just jump into and reach your desired destination. In Dubai worlds first autonomous done taxis are in development. The company that’s developing them “Volcopter” aims to launch them by 2023 and they estimate that by 2030 a quarter of journeys in Dubai will be done by the done taxis.
Conclusion These are just a few of the amazing technologies we’ll see developed in the coming decades. It is just the beginning of a new age of wonders. Companies are all the time investing more money on research and development. This indicates that companies and government are interested to achieve and find new technological inventions that would change the markets. All ready one of the computer related inventions, Internet, has changed the spreading of information globally.
