1. What is a GDSC? University of Hull Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) is a university-based community group for students interested in Google technologies and programming. Learn Development Skills Build Apps & Projects Network & Connect Gain Real-World Experience Advance Your Career

2. What is the purpose of GDSC ? For you to chose what skills you want to learn : Web 2. Firebase 3. Google Cloud 4. Android Apps 5. Machine learning What is a GDSC? We will have online workshops led by Google software engineers to teach you those skills. We will then have monthly meet ups to practise the skills and help each other to learn. We will also have some social events in and around the University

3. Google Events What is a GDSC? Three main events: DevFest (open to all members ( Online )) IO Connect(open to Core members only ( Amsterdam )) IO Extended (open to all members( online ))

These are Some of the Available Roles Secretary Event Manager Social Media Manager Secretary Collaborate with the Social Secretary on event planning and logistics Manage email communications for the club Develop creative materials from concept to execution Translate marketing goals into compelling messaging Ensure work meets or exceeds GDSC quality standards Social Sec Work with the team to host events based on your skills Ensure all events are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way Add and help new club members Find ways to increase quality of events (Virtual or In-person) Social Media Sec Work with team to execute social media strategy in a way that protects GDSC and Google's reputation Create, schedule and post content on GDSC social channels like LinkedIn and Instagram Act as the main point of contact for social media requests and queries Team Leader(s) Team leader People who are more experience in coding on Android, ML, web development
