NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE IDENTIFICATION OF BEST PRACTICES ON TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY SHARED TO OTHER SCHOOL A school is an institution where transparency and accountability go hand-in-hand and should be held as statutory obligations. The transparency in school Administration shouldn’t be taken lightly. If a school is transparent, people can be held accountable for their actions. Likewise, Bulihan Integrated National High School has its best practices pertaining on how the School Management implements and practice accountability and transparency. During and every conduct of Benchmarking activity in the School, the School Management also includes in the agenda our best practices in Accountability and Transparency. LEADING - Creating a positive attitude towards the work and goals among the members of the organization is called leading. It is required as it helps to serve the objective of effectiveness and efficiency by changing the behavior of the employees. –Rather they regard coordinating as the essence of managership for achieving harmony among individual efforts towards accomplishing group targets. -Motivating is an essential quality for leading. Motivating is the management process of influencing people’s behavior based on knowing what cause and channel sustain human behavior in a particular committed direction.

CONTROLLING Monitoring the organizational progress toward goal fulfillment is called controlling. Thus, monitoring progress is essential to ensure the achievement of organizational goals . Controlling is measuring, comparing, finding deviation, and correcting the organizational activities performed to achieve the goals or objectives. Thus, controlling consists of activities like; measuring the performance, comparing with the existing standard and finding the deviations, and correcting the deviations. Some means of controlling, like the budget for expenses , inspection records, and the record of labor hours lost, are generally familiar. Each measure also shows whether plans are working out if deviations persist, correction is indicated. Whenever results differ from the planned action, persons responsible are to be identified, and necessary actions must be taken to improve performance. T hus, outcomes are controlled by controlling what people do. Controlling is the last but not the least important management function process. It is rightly said, “planning without controlling is useless.” In short, we can say that controlling enables the accomplishment of the

Philosophy and Objectives S CHOOL - BASED MANAGEMENT PROGRAM Anchored on DepEd’s vision, mission and goal, Bulihan Integrated National High School, as an academic institution, aims to accelerate the quality of education provided to its clientele through School - Based Management Implementation. Through its SMB banner program, SIBOL,programs and projects in the areas of leadership and Governance, Curriculum and Instructions,Accountability and Continuous Improvement and Management of Resources Create huge impact to the learners’ achievement as proven in the awards and recognitions received by the school for two consecutive years. Bulihan Integrated National High School continues to serve by executing a well - orchestrated curriculum made possible through the collaboration of internal and external stakeholders. With proper allocation, adjustments, and utilization of funds, activities are implemented in support of teachers and students’ development, and infrastructure improvement. Also,research engagement,students’ participation in competitions, teachers’ professional engagements and expanded community collaboration, significantly contribute to overall school performance adhering “Sa Bulihan, pag-usbong, maaasahan.”

FACULTY

FACULTY Teachers’ Capacity (readiness on preferred modalities) Upon consultation with teachers, it has been noted that they have chosen the teaching modality that they will use this school year 2020-2021. It has been verified by their respective department heads that the teachers are equipping the mselves with the appropriate technologies/ strategies in handling the teaching modality of their choice . Among the proofs that they are ready to face the teaching process this New Normal are as follows: 1. Attending webinar/ trainings in relation to the New Normal way of teaching. 2. Providing teachers with the necessary preparations including the familiarization with the lesson exemplar preparations, module walkthrough and other related matters. 3. Pre-evaluation of the learners documents in preparations for the smooth flow of all the undertakings this school year 2020-2021. The School Head is constantly monitoring the teachers and non-teaching staff daily accomplishments to make sure that all concerned are gearing towards the realization of the schools’ learners continuity plan.

Faculty Result of Evaluation: It is noteworthy that all the respondents strongly agreed with all the statements given. It means that parents are satisfied with the service of the school teachers and the guidance and support they give to their students. It indicates that school teachers are performing well for their students' academic performance. . Assessment: There is a high level of support and guidance that the school teachers provide for the students to be able to perform well in the class. The collaboration and partnership between teachers and parents are also evident, that leads to helping the students perform well academically. Recommendation: It is recommended that the school teachers continue to guide, help, and give support to the students progress. Collaboration and partnership between the parents must be continually present for the betterment of the students through the consistent PTA meetings that will ensure the relationship between them for the students.

Facilities/ Laboratories Result of Evaluation: The respondents also Strongly Agreed with all the statements under the school facility. It implies that the school keeps the school facilities organized, clean and complete to accommodate the needs of the students. It is then advised that the school must maintain its cleanliness and orderliness. Assessment: Provide a physical environment that is comfortable,secure,safe, accessible, well ventilated to everyone. Recommendation: To continue the clean and hygienic environment, Laboratories with proper instruments and equipment.

Library The school library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in our inc* raising levels of achievement. reasingly information- and knowledge-based present day society. The school library equips students with lifelong learning skills and develops their imagination, thereby enabling them to live as responsible citizens. The policy must be comprehensive and workable. It should not be drafted by the school librarian alone, but jointly with the teaching staff and senior managers. The draft should be consulted widely throughout the school and supported by exhaustive open discussion. The document and subsequent plans will specify the role of the library in relation to the following aspects: The school curriculum Methods in the school Satisfying national and local standards and criteria Students’ learning and personal development needs Staff’s teaching needs Open source system

Physical P lants and F acilities Project Gulayan sa Paaralan The Gulayan sa Paaralan Program is envisioned by the Department of Education to help address hunger and malnutrition concerns in the country. It is a part of the department’s poverty alleviation programs. Its objective is to establish vegetable gardens to serve as food basket and ready source of vegetables to sustain supplementary feeding program. To support the program’s aim in mitigating hunger and malnutrition, Bulihan Integrated National High School put up a Gulayan sa Paaralan through the leadership of the school administration and with the joint efforts of the teachers, parents, and students. The rapport between the school and the community set forth positive outcomes. Several accomplishments of BINHS Gulayan sa Paaralan for the year 2021 are hereby presented. OBJECTIVES: The activity had the following objectives; 1. Provide ready-food basket or source of fruits and vegetables in sustaining school supplementary feeding 2. Sustain environmental consciousness and action among learners while instilling them the values of unity, teamwork, volunteerism, nationalism, and community service for environmental protection and conservation. 3. to work hand-in-hand with our partners in order to make the project fruitful by actively monitoring on the progress of Gulayan sa Paaralan and continuously supporting the community. REFLECTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS: We were able to work hand-in-hand with our partners in order to make the project fruitful by actively monitoring on the progress of Gulayan sa Paaralan and continuously supporting the community. Parents and other individual helped us in planting and weeding.

School/ Student services  Result of Evaluation: The respondents strongly agreed with the school's offered services. The results implied that the offered services like implementing safety protocols, well-mannered security personnels and staffs, respondents are updated through FB page,school's participation in the community, and effective leadership and management of the school satisfied the respondents.We recommend that the school continues to implement the safety protocols due to the continual spread of the Covid-19 virus. Assessment: High levels of collaboration, communication and expectations for all students. Provides students with opportunities to develop engagement skills. Recommendation: That the administration will focus more on safety of the students during this pandemic and some Face to Face Classes. And also have a platform where can disseminate the information.

Social orientation and community involvement

ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION Result of Evaluation : T he respondents Strongly Agreed and Agreed with the services it provides to the community. It indicates that students and parents are pleased with the services of school administrators. It is then suggested that the administration must continue to serve and engage with every family and the entire community of Bulihan.

ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION Assessment: The school provides direction, assistance and resources to align support and enhance all parts of the school system in meeting organizational and student performance goals. Organization and administration showed a very good rapport with its parents, students and stakeholders manifested by the continuous patronage of the activities and sending their children in the same school. Recommendation: That the administration find all the means to protect the privacy of their students and strengthen the implementation of data privacy act to avoid personal data exploitation. . It is then recommended to have a webinar to discuss the Data Privacy Act and/or Child Protection Policy to protect the students’ information mainly because things needed to be online in this time of the pandemic.

These are the certificates that the school of Bulihan Integrated National High School is successfully passed the SBM Division validation in Province of Cavite to provide principals, teachers, students and parents control over the education process giving them the responsibility for decision about the programs or projects.
