Top 10 Apps to use in the classroom.
Apps Used in the Classroom

Google Classroom
Google Classroom is the best way to share
materials, assignments, quizzes, and grades with
students. Classroom also allows students to
collaborate with their peers on different
assignments or projects. It is also tied to various
google apps such as presentations and sheets
that can be implemented into Google Classroom.
Moreover, Google Classroom is an easy to use
platform where students can see how to access
work, turn in assignments, and see upcoming
assignments. Google Classroom can also be
differentiated for all students. The teacher is in
charge of what material gets placed into the
classroom, so they can assign work for students
of different learning styles or needs. Teachers can
also assign work that fits the content and
standards so students are reinforcing skills while
using the app. Google Classroom also provided
feedback to students in a variety of ways, while
also allowing clear communication between
students and teachers.

Kahoot
Kahoot is a fun and interactive way for
students to review valuable information
from the previous lesson. This is a good
way to review before a test, or review a
lesson before moving on to ensure
understanding. Students get to participate
in a fun yet competitive game which
increases student participation in the
classroom. Kahoot also keeps the
students' identities secure, proving to be a
positive and safe learning app for
students.

Youtube
Youtube is a great way for students to
interact with the material that is being
presented in class. Students can look up
different videos, or teachers can assign
videos that fit the lesson.  Youtube is also
very easy for students to use because it is
something that they are familiar with.
Youtube can also be accessed through
any electronic device such as computer,
phone, or tablet. There is also a feature
that ensures students' identities are kept
private through the use of Youtube Kids.
Teachers and students can use Youtube to
reinforce the curriculum and meet
standards that are vital for student
success.

Quizlet
Students are able to study key terms and
concepts through digital flashcards,
quizzes, or games. The app reinforces
memorization skills, while also allowing
students to create their own flashcards for
various classes. Quizlet is an easy to use
app that has clear instructions that
students can use to test their knowledge
on any subject. Quizlet also lets students
learn at their own pace, which can be vital
for students who need extra time.

Khan Academy
Khan Academy is a free platform that
provides students with lessons over the
content that they are studying. Along with
the lessons provided for students, there
are also questions that students can
answer at their own pace. The app also
evaluates the students performance to
see where students are strong and
expands more on their weaknesses to
make sure they are fully understanding the
content. This app also allows students to
work with peers from anywhere they have
access to the app. Students are able to
use Khan Academy inside and outside of
the classroom, making it a great choice for
students.

they have missed a question, and can see how they are
progressing through each course with the help and
guidance of Duo, the helpful green owl. It is intuitive
through the playful way students can progress through
lessons. Characters help students along and give them
helpful tips on how to proceed. The knowledge learned in
Duolingo can be used by students everywhere, and
lessons can be done on mobile outside of the classroom.
By learning parts of another language, one can better
understand and relate to those in other countries who
may not speak the same language as you. Duolingo has
made its way into popular culture, and stays relevant
both in and out of the classroom..

students what work needs to be completed for the
week, when it is due, and the points associated
with it. Students can also have online discussions
with teachers and students through the discussion

with other students in the class, and can create
