Trace the letters with
different ideas
Fun with Tracing:
Teacher will explain tracing ideas (tracing on Air, palm, water,
sand and text book) then teacher will assign some letters randomly
and ask students trace these letters with different tracing ideas.
Introduction of Sky letters, Grass letters & Root letters:
Teacher will ask the students, small letters are of three types Sky
letters, Grass letters & Root letters.
Sky letters:
Letters that we write upper top three lines are called sky letters for
example, d f, h, k, l & t (7 letters).
Grass letters:
All grass letters are written in between the center two lines, a, c, e,
i, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z (14 letters).
Root letters:
Letters that we write on bottom three lines are known as root
letters for example, g, j, p, q, y (5 letters).
Teacher will make a big chart with four lines and write the letters
with specific lines.
Book writing:
Teacher will ask students to open the page No 4 and trace the
letters from Aa-Dd.
After practice of this, teacher will ask them to write these letters on
four lines in their copies. Teacher will check students work and
correct their mistakes.

Recognize the initial
letters and sounds
Recap:
Teacher will share that we are already learned letter name, letter
sound & letter shape in previous class. Teacher will write some
mixed (capital & Small) letters on the board and ask students to
tell the sound, name and its shape. Is this capital or small etc.
Reading:
Teacher will ask students to open page No 5 and listen carefully,
after that teacher will read aloud and explain the capital and small
letter, shape name and their sounds. Teacher will read the name of
each picture and then call the beginning sound 3 times e.g.
Eagle /e/ /e/ /e/ eagle
Now teacher will ask students to read the text same like teacher
Teacher will give opportunity to all students to practice initial
sounds on the text book.
