GRADE 5 PETA RECYCLING for Science performace task

Presentation for the class on recycling good practices. Slides are filled with information suitable for the grade level. Information is provided for detailing the need and urgency to start recycling. As a student, the ways and means are limited. However, we can already start by education ourselves and practicing the simple tasks to reuse, reduce and recycle. The need to do this is an urgent one. One person alone cannot accomplish a change in the environment. This presentation hopes to influence other kids to do the same and practice recycling in their homes, schools and in their communities.

7. GOAL : Your goal is to create a useful product using recyclable materials.   ROLE : You are a member of the Barangay Clean and Green Committee who is knowledgeable in recycling.

8. AUDIENCE : You are to present sample products from recyclable materials to your neighbors and other family members

9. SITUATION : Solid waste products collected every day pile up in our dump sites and this causes a lot of environmental and health problems. Trash that come from our houses is the main contributor of the pile of trash in our dumpsites. As a member of the Barangay Clean and Green Committee, you initiated a recycling campaign in your neighborhood. You will create sample product from recyclable materials to show others that commonly produced solid wastes from the house can still be turned into useful items.
