Growth and development milestones in school-aged children (6-12 years) highlight advancements in physical strength, cognitive abilities, emotional regulation, and social skills. These milestones support academic success, peer relationships, and the development of self-esteem and independence.

Aspect 6 – 8 years 8 – 10 years 10 – 12 years Physical Development Weight: 18 to 26 kg. Height: 110 to 124 cm. Weight: 22-32 kilograms. Height: 121-136 centimetres. At 12 years: Weight: 30-48 kg, height: 142-160 cms .

Aspect 6 – 8 years 8 – 10 years 10 – 12 years Gross Motor Children enjoy physical activities. Balance on one leg with eyes closed. Can catch a tennis ball with one hand. Demonstrates proficiency in bicycle tricks. Engages in racing activities. Exhibits skilled ball-throwing techniques, including overhead throws. Enjoys running, jumping, climbing, and hopping. Constant, active movement. Occasional clumsy and awkward moments.
