According to Aristotle, “Happiness is to be the end goal of education”. Happiness is one of the most important elements that help any person successful in his/her life. According to Jagannath K Dange (2019) successful people make goals actualised because they are able to perceive, find their passion and become obsessed with it . Happy learning is a process as well as a product which enables the students to discover the world of knowledge and where their curiosity, desire to learn can grow and it achieves a perfect balance between present pleasure and future benefits for sustainable happiness. And e-pedagogy is a learning design which incorporates values, effectiveness of teaching and learning, quality education and evaluation process virtually.

Most of the parents expect from the schools that their children should be to be happy, healthy, and confident.  Happy learning strategy is being described in engaging the students in the resilience and wellbeing; it makes the students always to enjoy the education. ( Dange & Bhavya 2020 ). So for the formation of an intelligent and confident generation, a happy learning atmosphere becomes the need of the hour where the entire education system and pedagogy are to be restructured with Happy learning strategy and elements

Need of happy learning in the present scenario 21 st century students are facing a lot of issues in their daily basis; it may be exam pressure, heavy homework, stress, depression, unhappiness, emotional imbalance, etc.  In this circumstance students need an environment which keeps them happy forever. In this concern since 2015 Delhi state government of India has made a revolutionary step in promoting happiness in the curriculum of the government schools with all kinds of facilities, activity-based curriculum, engaging in learning etc.

According to the World Happiness Report schools that prioritize learner wellbeing have the potential to be more effective, with better learning outcomes and greater achievement in learners' lives (Layard and Hagell , 2015). Indian National Educational Policy-2019  gave more importance for play-way, discovery approach and activity-based multi-level flexible styles of learning and interaction to promote Happy learning . The motto of Happy learning in the present scenario is educating students not only to get more marks but also to promote happiness in the teaching-learning process inside and outside the classrooms and to create an environment where students feel happy, confident and self-aware
