From the “ Cellphone : Unseen Connections” Exhibition at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. At the begining of the visit you either scan qr code to join a survey in the form of a group chat or use the large interactive screens. All answers are live fed into the screen at the end of the exhibitiion . Almost all of the questions were multiple choice, except for a few questions that required written response with character limitation. The screen at the end showed all the survey questions with visitors responses simultaneously. Ideas for “Have your say” kiosks -budget depending- to have a live feeding survey, word cloud or comments section and visitors can either put their input through a tablet/screen in the kiosk or through a QR Code. Can also integrate the questions and prompts around the exhibition, all of them feeding to the screen at the end with the visitor’s answers. Can be used for the electronic voting or the Wall for audiences as well. QR code can be in various locations or related to exhibits
“A note can be attached that the views or opinions are of the visitors’ not the museum if there are any concerns about libaility or sensitivities the comments might create.” This was an automated group chat, it can be programmed and regulated to introduce debate questions for small groups and make it more interactive. At the same time it can be used to prevent the use or sharing of rude or obscene comments by automatically detecting and eliminating certain vocabulary and sentences link to group chat interactive: https://nmnh-cellphone.si.edu/chatbot/chat/influence
