What is Intentional Injuries? Intentional injuries are injuries resulting from violence. It can be divided into two: self-inflicted, when a person harms himself/herself on purpose and assault, when person(s) harm another on purpose. Intentional injuries are ones that are purposely inflicted and are often associated with violence . These include domestic violence, sexual assault, aggravated assault, homicide, and suicide..
