Do you wish to enroll in IISc’s M.Tech. program but are still unsure about the courses
available? Do you not know the program’s fee structure as well? Then don’t be worried. IISc
offers a variety of postgraduate study options, including its Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
programs.



Eligibility:
Candidates satisfying the following eligibility criteria may apply for admission to the MTech
and ME programs:
 Those with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
 Professional society examinations are equivalent to the B.E./B.Tech., approved by the
MoE, UPSSC, and AICTE (such as AMIE offered by Institutions of Engineers). Note:
Only applicants who were enrolled up until May 31, 2013, and whose professional
societies (like AMIE) have been recognised by the MoE may apply.
 Holders of master’s degrees in science fields such as mathematics, physics with
electronics, geology, instrumentation, computer application, and physics, as
applicable to the particular department offering M.Tech. programs.
