SANGI/SAKUPIT it’s a woven from rattan and bamboo Traditionally, they were used to carry agricultural goods, transporting belongings and also by hunters to carry their supplies. it is a traditional indigenous basket-backpack from the Northern Luzon.

TYPEWRITER an old fashioned typewriter is a mechanical or electromechanical machine for typing characters the typewriter replaced messy handwriting with a clear, professional looking format for all kinds of writing needs.

RICE MILL An indigenous rice mill is a traditionl facility used by indigenous communities to process rice. It incorporates local knowledge, techniques, and tools that have been passed down through generations

WALKIE-TALKIE Walkie -talkie is a handheld portable device that enables two-way radio communication. Its commonly used in areas where mobile signals are unreliable or unavailable, providing an efficient way to communicate over short distances

AGRICULTURAL TRAMLINE agricultural tramline is a hauling facility for upland farms that is composed of cables,pulleys, cart or carrier, posts, powerhouse and loading/unloading platforms

AKGO akgo is a round and shallow basket tray traditionally made of bamboo splits or a flat woven bamboo container with shallow depth used by women in carrying products. it carried with giken t provide comfort and balance

Handloom weaving

HANDLOOM WEAVING Handloom weaving , it is operated by human hands doing the picking and beating. Handloom weaving is a livelihood in our Barangay Patiacan,Quirino,Ilocos Sur. They produce tapis,of any design(pinagpagan,lineyeg,and many more)but most they weave fabric and sell it by yards for dresses, skirts and bags. There are many known textiles that come from the weavers of quirino ilocos sur. The most popular of which is known as inabel or the abel iloko. The Ilokano inabel is known for the geometric nature of its different variations. The accuracy of the grid designs, woven without any specialized equipment, shows just how precise the hand of an inabel weaver is.

UNGOT/SABOT

UNGOT/SABOT In digenous pitcher with cups, out of coconut shell (ungot,sabot). Today, coconut shell carving is still practiced in many parts of the world, with artisans creating intricate designs on coconut shells used as decorative objects or functional items such as bowls, cups, and jewelry. Coconut shell carvings also provide employment opportunities for some people in our municipality of Quirino, helping to support local economies and preserve traditional crafts and a big help also in sustaining the everyday beeds of some people of Quirino.

ANIMAL WASTE RECYCLE

ANIMAL WASTE RECYCLE animal waste recycle also known as anaerobic digestion. this is a process in which the breakdown of organic matter such as animal manure. they are using a big tank to compile or the animal manure to produce a gas and were able to use as alternate in cooking. it has a long process and need of technology such as lighting to heat the tank.

SPRINKLER IRRIGATION sprinkler irrigation allows the application of water under high pressure with a help of pump. it is used as an alternative to those watering jugs. it is very convenient especially to our farmers because they dont need to lift a bunch of water to water the plant. with the help of technology they connected it with a pump and a hose that ca access to a river or in a irrigation site.
