"Importance of water“ B y: Khansa Asad

"Water": What is water?? A colorless, transparent, odorless, liquid which forms the seas, lakes, rivers and rain is the basis of the fluids of living organisms. Importance of water: Water is important because it is essential to life on earth.Humans can only live three days without water, though it is possible to live weeks without food.

Importance of water in Humans: The body is composed of 50-75% of water, depending on age and body fitness. It's important to drink at least 8-10 cups of water a day for a healthy body and to avoid heat stroke or exhaustion. The common rate of sweat lose is about 275ml in the heat and during exercise.

Water roles in body: Water is used in every cell of your body. Water travels throughout your body carrying nutrients, oxygen and waste to and from your cells and organs. Water keeps your body cool as part of your body's temperature regulating system. Water cushions your joints, and protect your tissues and organs from shock and damage. Water also helps you maintain a healthy weight.

Water acts as a lubricant for your joints, your mouth and digestive system, in saliva and in your nose , throat, eyes and stomach as Part of mucous. Water aids in digestion and absorption of food, as well as in the removal of wastes from your body. Every day your body loses 2-3quarters (8-12 cups) of water through sweat, urination and evaporation through your skin and lungs.

Disease's caused due to deficiency of water and pollution: Dehydration. Depression. Fatigue syndrome. Insulin. Iupus. Chronic dependent Diabetes. Multiple sclerosis. Muscular dystrophy.

Disease's: Parkinson's disease. Alzheimer's. Low blood pressure. Fainting. Convulsions. Sever cramping.. Lack of elasticity of skin. Constipation.

Symptoms of disease's: Moderate symptoms:- Flushed face. Extreme thirst. Dry and warm skin. Inability to pass urine. Dizziness. Weakness. Cramping. Dry mouth.

Symptoms of disease's: Sever symptoms:- Low blood pressure. Lack of elasticity of skin. Rapid and deep breathing. Fast and weak pulse. Pain in body. The human body consists of water, if we lose 3% of it, we 'll have of dehydration and if lose 10~15%,we lose sound body.

Tips for prevention:- Always drink plenty of fluids During the day, especially when Working or exercising in sun. Make sure you're sufficiently Hydrated before, during and After exercising.During exercise It's recommended you Replenish fluids at least 20 Min..

Tips for prevention:- Established Habits to drink a glass of water, Before each meal, a glass on rising and another last thing before you go to bed..

Importance of water in animals:

"Pure Water 24Hours a day_guarantee increase in production" WATER is very important for the nutrients of animals .a lot of water is required at every stage for their growth. The importance of water can be realized from the fact that the lose of even one tenth of water in the animals body can cause it's death. Amongst all animals, Lactating animals need more water because 84-88% of Milk is water.

Role of water in animals:- Helps in Digestion of food. Helps in Excretion of wastes Material. Plays an important role to regulate body temperature. Protect's against Harmful effects of heat. Control acidity levels. Safe from constipation. Safe from Dehydration. Improves productivity.

Water need for Animals:- Animals need for water can vary according to environment(weather) ,food and their production status, Example, they need more water in summer season than in Winter, the reason is the intensity of Heat and a lesser Ratio of water IN the feed.In the same way, they would drink more water. When they eat dried fodder or Wheat/straw and they would drink less water, when they eat soft"Berseem".2-4liter water is needed to digest one kilo feed.

Effect of water deficiency:- Less intake of feed. Decreases in production of Milk. Constipation. Weakness. Increase in Quantity of Urea in urine and bad smell. Incomplete Digestion.

Things to remember:- Water should be available for All the time. Always offer them pure and Fresh water. Clean the water manger daily. Keep the water temperature According to environment. Offer water to animals 5 time

A day in summer and at least 3 times a day in Winter,if they remain tied to one place. Animals must be offered water after milking because animals need 1/3 of their daily water consumption after they are Milked. No matter how rich the feed is in nutrition, if animals are not given plenty of water the feed cannot be effective.

Importance of water in plants:- Importance:- Water is essential for Corp production. For plant growth. Required for the germination of seeds. Growth starts, Water serves as a carrier in distribution of minerals, nutrients and plants food. All process of metabolism required an aqueous environment in which to function. Water fills a number of important physiology role in plants.

Depends on its properties:- Thermal properties: Water is important for regulating temperature as it doesn't heat or cool too quickly, and cools plants by evaporating from leaf surface. Solvent properties: It's carries nutrients and solutes required for growth. Biochemical reactions: Helps in growth..

Transparency:- Allows sunlight to penetrate to power photosynthesis in the cells. Water movement in plants:- Transpiration is the process that drives water movement through the plants from the roots to atmosphere. Transpiration is driven by the lose of water from the plants, in the from of water vapour through the stomatal process(90%)and the cuticle(10%).
