What is Feedback
It is information about reactions to a product, a
person's performance of a task, etc. which is used
as a basis for improvement. Feedback provides
new information specifically related to the task or
process of learning that fills a gap between what is
understood and what is aimed to be understood.
Feedback as a
Reinforcer
Feedback is a great reinforcer for learning and
achievement. Positive feedback has the power to
initiate further action and it improves both
teaching & learning and also behaviour
modification.

Behaviour
When you provide positive feedback,
you are telling your students what
they're doing correctly and should
continue to do.
Negative feedback is the opposite as it
focuses on what they did wrong or need
to improve.
Positive feedback is a form of evaluation
that focuses on an student's strengths,
talents and accomplishments. It reinforces
what people are doing well.
