Andrew Ender Wiggin was a completely normal boy. Was being a key word. When
Ender was small, the government installed a monitor on the back of his neck so
they could observe his actions and judge whether he was fit to join the army.
Decades, maybe a whole century before, aliens, called buggers , attacked the planet.
Humans were outgunned, outnumbered, and a sure defeat seemed to be on the way.
If it weren t for the best general in history of earth, mankind would have been
destroyed. The government is positive the buggers will come back, so they take
certain children at the age of six, and drive them mad. When Ender turned six, he
was chosen to join the army. He was thought of as the one , the best of the best. But
once you re in the army, you aren t a child anymore... Ender s Game starts on earth
at the home and school of Ender Wiggin. Later, once Ender is chosen, he s taken up
