Since 1976, KAEE has worked to build a
sustainable environment through education.  
We are…
•the voice of environmental education (EE) in Kentucky
•one of our nation’s oldest associations supporting EE and the first affiliate of the
North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE)
•a non-advocacy 501c3 professional organization with more than 270 members
•an all-volunteer working Board of Directors with two staff (full-time Executive
Director and part-time Programs Coordinator)
