REASONS FOR OPENING A BIG BAZAAR STORE IN KEONJHAR? India is witnessing a revolutionary change in its organized retail trade in the form of shopping malls, hypermarkets, supermarkets, departmental stores etc paving its way down from major metros to the tier II and III towns as well. The industry is fueled by the gradual increase in the disposable income of middle & upper middle class households, changing lifestyles and overall economic growth of the country. This has finally led the retail market becomes more attractive to the real estate developers in the country for developing commercial establishments. The concept of commercial complexes with everything under one roof is gradually gaining popularity in every corner of the country. This is the First mall that will be opening in Keonjhar. There is no other retail store like Big Bazaar in Keonjhar and this will definitely attract the younger generation and match their needs. Many people from Keonjhar would earlier purchase their requirement from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Tata, Ranchi. Keonjhar, being a district headquarter of Keonjhar district, with presence of a large no. of government & administrative offices along with schools, colleges, banks, and endless tourist spots has led the town as a prominent business hub in the district. Mining business to resume soon by govt clearances would pump money in the town
