Cultural perspectives & Empathy Module 1 Week 1 Skill Lab 2 IGCSE Global Perspectives Start!

A particular way of regarding something/a certain world view. perspective

Perspectives are based on personal experiences of the world and thinking about them. People see the world differently because their experiences and ways of thinking differ. Our views are influenced by many people, including our parents, friends, and people we admire. The first stage in understanding different perspectives is to recognize that other people have different perspectives, even if we cannot understand them. It is then important to recognize that these other perspectives might be as reasonable as our own.
