Kinesics (किनिसिक्स)

Kinesics (किनिसिक्स) is the study of how we use body movements, gestures, and facial expressions to communicate without using words. It's about understanding what our bodies are saying, even when we're not speaking. Facial Expressions: These can convey emotions like happiness, anger, surprise, or sadness. For example, a smile often indicates friendliness or approval. For example, At a family party, when a child sees their favorite cake, their face lights up with a big smile, showing how happy and excited they are. Gestures: Gestures are movements we make with our hands and arms to communicate. Sometimes, gestures make what we're saying clearer. For example, if you're giving directions and point to the right, it helps the other person understand where to go. Other times, gestures can replace words. For instance, instead of saying "yes," you might just nod your head up and down.

Posture: The way someone stands or sits can show if they are confident, relaxed, or tense. In a classroom, a student sitting up straight and looking at the teacher shows they are paying attention and interested in learning. At a family dinner, if someone slouches in their chair and looks down at their phone, it might show they are bored or not interested in talking with others. Eye contact: It means looking into someone’s eyes while talking to them. The way you use eye contact can show different things: Interest: If you look someone in the eyes while they’re talking, it shows that you are interested in what they’re saying. Attentiveness: If you keep eye contact, it shows you’re paying attention. Avoidance: If you avoid looking at someone, it might mean you’re uncomfortable, shy, or trying to hide something.

Occulesics (ओक्युलेसिक्स)

Occulesics is about how we use our eyes to talk without using words. It’s a way we communicate just by looking at someone Eye Contact: What It Means: Making eye contact means looking directly into someone’s eyes. It’s a powerful way to connect with others. For example, During a conversation, if you look into someone’s eyes, it shows that you are listening and interested in what they’re saying. In a classroom, when a student keeps eye contact with the teacher, it shows they are paying attention and are engaged in the lesson.

Gazing: What It Means: Gazing means looking at something or someone for a long time without turning your eyes. If you like someone, you might find yourself looking at them a lot, like staring at them when they’re not looking. When you see a beautiful painting, you might stand and gaze at it, noticing all the details . Pupil Dilation: What It Is : Dilation means getting bigger. Your pupils (the black part of your eyes) get bigger when you see something you really like or find interesting. If you see your favorite ice cream, your pupils might get a bit bigger because you’re excited. when you see someone you care about a lot, like a close friend or a family member after a long time, your pupils might get bigger because you're happy to see them.

Avoiding Eye Contact: What It Means: Not looking someone in the eyes can show that a person is nervous, shy, or not interested in the conversation. If a child did something wrong, they might not look at their parents because they feel guilty . when someone is embarrassed, like if they tripped in front of others, they might avoid looking at anyone because they feel awkward
