This is a fashionable lower torso wear, preferably women of all age
group is willing to wear because of its more looseness and also
wearer feel more comfort. fashion designers are innovating some
changes in this design and introduce in the fashion market and
fashion followers are willing to follow the innovations. This outer
look resembles like the samosa, and hence this dress is called as
samosa salwar.

2. Suitable material: -chiffon, sun-crepe, light-weight satin, voile cotton,
nylon, Nynex and polyester.
Fabric-Required: -3.50 metre.
Fabric width=44’’to 48’’.
Measurements Required: Full length= 40”, Waist girth= 30”, HIP=38”
bottom open = 7”

3. Pattern-part: waist top cut 2 on fold. Lower torso portion cut-2
Drafting – details:
(Waist top portion)
1-2= Tape or elastic casing 2”
2-3= 7 ½” as standard.
4-1= 1/4
th
waist +4”.
5-4= same as 1 to 3 measure.
(Lower torso portion)
6-7= Full length + 1” & minus 1 to 3measure in 7 ½”
8-6= 1/4
th
hip girth.
9-6=seam margin ¾”
11-8=Draw a line as per draft (11 to 7 same as 8 to 6 measurement)
10- 8= ½ hip + 18” 38/2= 19+ 18= 37”(or) the width or fabric.

4. 12-10= hip/4(-) 2” 38/4= 9 ½-2= 7 ½”.
