Leadership Skills By : Suraj

What is leadership ? Leadership is the process of influencing the behaviour of others towards the accomplishment of goals in given situation. It is lifting a person’s performance to a higher standard i.e. building a personality beyond it’s normal limitations. We can say that, if our actions inspires others to dream more, learn more and to do more, then you are a leader.

What is the difference between a leader and a boss ? A Boss says, “Go !”, where as a leader says, “Let’s go !”. A boss will always talk more and give answers, where as a leader will listen more and seek solutions. A boss will point out weakness, where as a leader will recognize natural gifts. A boss will always focus on himself or herself, where as a leader will focus on the team.
