Proposed Schedule for Reading Time Activities 8:00 - 8:30 (30 Minutes) instruction Teacher Guided and Peer/ Coaching 8:30 – 9:30 (60 mins) Guided Play (Theme Based) 9:30 – 10:30 (60mins) Media Instruction/ Movie/ Video K and Other Technology related activities to develop Speaking, Viewing, Writing which Comprehension and other reading skills 10:30 – 11:30 (60mins) Presentation of output from Media Activities 3 hrs and 30mins. Monthly Convocation inviting Guest Readers from Community
Afternoon Session Subjects Activity HEALTH Sports Development ( Laro ng Lahi ) Symposium (Mental Health Program), Feeding and Cooking/ Clean up Drive and Gardening. Suggestion: each week should have a defined focus VALUES Ecumenical Groupings which work on Religious Works like Bible Reading and Sharing and other Character Education Activities. Monthly Value Focus must be according to DO on Values Education PEACE EDUCATION Symposium, Film Viewing, Poster Making and other Team Building activities focus on contemporary issues
Consideration: Time Schedule adjustment per learning area For Shifting Classes, it is encouraged that the half day will be “pull out sessions” for learners who are at risk academically. Each SDO is given a leeway to contextualize its activities.
