Learning English by Project Based Learning : Practice English and Broaden Your Horizons by Making Friends with Foreign Friends.

My name is Eka. As the leader of Group 4, together with my team members Gek Vin, Popy, Risna, and Napisa, we will carry out a cultural and language exchange project with a foreign friend from England. Throughout this project, we will engage in various activities such as watching a traditional Barong performance and enjoying local cuisine in Batubulan Village.

The main purpose of this project is to train our confidence and improve our English language skills through direct interaction with a native speaker. By engaging in real-life situations, we aim to enhance our communication abilities, broaden our cultural understanding, and build meaningful international relationships that will benefit us in the future.

Moreover, this project will help us strengthen our teamwork skills, adapt to multicultural environments, and showcase the warmth and values of our local culture to our guest. Through a critical and reflective approach, we will evaluate the interaction process to understand how this experience contributes to developing our cross-cultural communication skills and soft skills as young individuals preparing to compete globally.

from Manchester, England. He currently
lives in Bali, specifically in Bitera,
Gianyar. He has lived there for five

childrens, but currently his childrens
and wife are in England. He is a
business investor and villa builder.
