Basic Yoga Poses Lesson 4

Activity 2: Yoga-ta be doing it! Directions: 1. The class will be divided into 5 groups. 2. Each group is assigned to 2 Basic Yoga Poses. Guide Questions: (20 minutes) a. What are your Yoga poses? b. What are the precautions in performing your assigned yoga poses? c. What are the health benefits we can get in performing your yoga poses? 3. The group is given 3 minutes to present the assigned Basic Yoga Pose.
Activity 3: Yoga’t that Move!
Directions: 1. Following the same groupings, perform your assigned basic yoga pose to the class in 3 breathing cycles. 2. The group is given 15 minutes to practice the assigned basic yoga poses.
