Conferences

1 Divide the students into small groups and ask them to brainstorm a list of potential
topics
that could be discussed at the annual conference. After 5 minutes, have each group
share
their ideas with the class.
2 Give each student a scenario where they are a participant at the conference. Ask
them to
write a short dialogue between themselves and another attendee discussing their
expectations for the event. Encourage them to use polite and professional language in
their dialogue.
3 Show the students a list of networking tips and etiquette guidelines. Ask them to
discuss
in pairs which tips they find most important for making meaningful connections at the
conference. Have each pair share their top tips with the class.

Dear Members of the Accommodation Arrangments Association,
I am writing to invite you to attend our upcoming annual conference, which will be held in the
beautiful city of Prague from 15th-18th September. The theme of this year's conference is
'Exploring New Opportunities in the Hospitality Industry' and we have put together an exciting
program of presentations, workshops, and networking events.
The conference will take place at the Grand Hotel Europa, a five-star hotel located in the heart
of the city. As accommodation providers, I am sure you will appreciate the luxurious facilities
and excellent service that the hotel offers.

During the three-day event, there will be a series of talks by industry experts on
topics such as the rise of online booking platforms, the latest trends in interior
design, and strategies for attracting international tourists. In addition, there will
be interactive workshops where you will have the opportunity to share your own
experiences and learn from others in the field. We are also planning several social
activities to give you the chance to relax and get to know your fellow attendees.
These include a welcome reception on the first evening, a guided tour of Prague's
historic center, and a gala dinner at one of the city's top restaurants.

committee will review all submissions and select the most relevant and engaging presentations
