Definition
A limerick is a light hearted
humorous poem.
A limerick always has the rhyming scheme
A-A-B-B-A
line 1,2 & 5 rhyme with each other
and lines
3 & 4 rhyme with each other

Line 1:“Hickory, dickory, dock, A
Line 2:The mouse ran up the clock. A
Line 3:The clock struck one, B
Line 4: And down he run, B
Line 5:Hickory, dickory, dock.” A
