-A Italian writer and poet of the renaissance period. -Born in June 16 1313. -Death in Dec 21, 1375 -Of Fiammetta published in 1344 -Many scholars believe He wrote the Of Fiammetta and the soneto after he fell in love with a lady named Fiammetta, in which She is the subject of a lot of Boccaccio’s literary works Giovanni Boccaccio
Concepts Sonnet or “Sonetto” is a Latin term, a literary work of a fixed poetic form, encompassing a rhyming scheme by traditionally inserting fourteen lines. It was first used for romantic basis only, but later on other topics were also used. Sonnet Of fiammetta singing Fiammetta Singing is a narrative work by Giovanni Boccaccio written during the Renaissance period. Boccaccio is known for his narrative works and poems such as the Sonnets and The Decameron.
