3. Working on your presentation Please use PowerPoint and record your voice on each slide . Use a laptop to record . If you are at university, the library and other big teaching buildings have laptops to borrow. Please contact the library if you need one. Before you begin your recording, please watch: Creating and Exporting a Narrated PowerPoint Presentation (specifically about file extensions which is important to know the correct file format to submit)

4. Assessment Brief A digital presentation critically analysing a new/ change in policy and how it has impacted an educational setting (15 minutes)

5. Brief: a new or change in policy You could choose a national or state level policy or school level policy ….BUT… Since you have to analyse the impact within an institution, ensure: A State or National Policy is linked to the school policy to show how the school has understood/interpreted and the impact it has had. Similarly, a school policy can (but doesn’t necessarily have to) show the link to a national policy.

6. Structure and content Introduction: There is a discussion of ‘what is policy ?’, some theoretical input and a brief synopsis of the policy you are discussing There should be a short introduction of the educational establishment that you are discussing Main discussion There is a critical review and discussion around the impact of the policy on the establishment This discussion is balanced , with various perspectives used to inform the content All of the above is informed by current research literature (last 10 years) Conclusion Key discussions are highlighted (not discussed) and concluding remarks made. Future recommendations and actions (for your establishment) are offered (keep then real and achievable) Conclusions to include key references References Use APA7th edition only.
