Hence, promotion of safety and comfort in land travel is a continuing commitment of the LTO.

EXPERIENCES On the first day of work immersion, we were quite anxious. We knew it was normal, but I was concerned because we were placed at the LTO, which seemed strict. Fortunately, we coworkers were there to support each other, making the experience easier. Mr. Romeo P. Alianza and the LTO team welcomed us with open arms. Ma'am Melissa Macaso, one of the officers, guided us on what to do and assigned us various tasks, such as removing motor vehicle stencils, assisting clients with their LTO Portal accounts, and sorting adjudicated and apprehended cases.
EXPERIENCES Other officers also helped us navigate the office. At first, we were really confused about which papers to take out and where to find them. But over time, with their help, we learned how to do it ourselves. Each of us felt a lot of pressure because we didn't want to make any mistakes, and luckily, we didn't. Every day around 9 or 10 am, we got snacks for a break, and at noon, we had a free lunch, so it was fine if we didn't bring our lunch boxes. After a long day of work, we helped clean every corner of the office and organize all the files.
EXPERIENCES Some of us often face the issue of being late due to heavy rain every morning. We realize this cuts into our work time, so we make it a point to stay an extra 15 minutes to complete my 80 hours of work immersion. We also try to finish all the documents each day so we can move on to the next set.
EXPERIENCES We have full enjoyment while working because I thought at first they were so very strict, but they are not. We feel so comfortable with the officers there, but we always make sure we always have respect and do all our duties. All of the things I've done there gave me lessons about the office work and all the experiences or points of view of the officer serving the clients, even if they're young or older. Every time we saw LTO on the highways, we weren't afraid or threatened; instead, we smiled at them because we knew them all, and we worked with them for a time.
REFLECTION Our time at the Land Transportation Office was a great experience that showed us what the professional world is really like. We learned about LTO procedures and saw how dedicated the staff is to serving the public. Besides gaining practical skills, this experience helped us build strong teamwork and friendships in our group. We collaborated, supported one another, and made memories that we will cherish. The LTO experience has deepened our understanding of government work and increased our appreciation for public service. We are thankful for this opportunity and will remember the lessons we learned as we move forward in our careers.
