Educational Implications Teacher should think, act, plan – keeping in mind her role - students need to feel safe - physically, emotionally and mentally. They must feel at ease to ask questions or raise concerns, without the fear of being reprimanded by the teacher or judged by their peers . Teachers must firstly check if basic needs are fulfilled. Hence , a ddressing Physiological Needs is important. Before students can participate in the learning process, their physiological requirements must be addressed. Teachers, organization as a whole should try creating a safe , s upportive Environment for the students Teachers should see that they f ostering a sense of belonging. Learners feel motivated.
Teachers should promoting Self-Esteem and Confidence. Teachers should encouraging Self- Actualisation . Every step an educator makes toward contributing to basic needs, ultimately it will enhance their students' capacity for learning and achievement in the classroom. Teachers approachable , caring,responsible , supportive nature important. Recess and nature call Breaks, necessary Warmth by showing attachment and giving positive vibes and when required , Planning the Creative timetables with scope for variation in the subjects.
Learners physical and safety needs must be met before they can focus on their higher-order needs. Next, people need their social and self-esteem needs met . Educators or teachers should also focus on the needs of the students while teaching or educating . If students are unmotivated in one way or another, it is likely that little learning will take place, or if by chance some learning should take place , it is probable that it will not be retained. This theory has great impact on educational structure.
Without the bottom layer of the hierarchy met, students cannot reach the next level. Each level, once met, allows students the ability and motivation to learn. Each student can move up in the hierarchy with the proper support.
For Teachers Teacher need to be able to learn and to flourish without other concerns weighing on their minds. Tone for teachers and supportive staff- by school head authorities Management of organization should answer questions, provide feedback, and offer help when needed. Be clear with expectations Reward/Acknowledge Staff Motivate/ Boost them as and when required.
