mBlock Profile

For the teacher: setup 1.First, the teacher must have a Google Classroom account, and create a class within the classroom

2.Within the class, the teacher has to add students with their Google account

For teacher: creating and sharing an assignment from mBlock 5 1.Teacher creates a projects in mBlock 5. Make sure teacher is logged in mBlock account.

2.Teacher goes to Share to…

3.Teacher clicks Google Classroom. The program might ask to log in the mBlock account if they are not logged in.

4. A browser window opens. Teacher is in his Google Classroom, so he must select class

5.Teacher then selects Action, in this case Assignment

6.Teacher clicks Go to setup the assignment

7.A new window opens. Teacher writes the description of the assignment and MUST set a Due date & time

8.When the assignment is ready, teacher clicks in the Assign button

9.The assignment is ready and it has been send to students. The teacher can click in View to see the list of assignments in his classroom

10.The new assignment appears in the Classwork list

For student: working on a mBlock assignment 1. The student receives a notification of the assignment to her email. Then the student clicks on the assignment

2. A browser window opens. The student can download the mBlock project on her computer. She can also click on the file to open mBlock in the browser

3. The student then works in the project. When she is done, she can share the project back to the Classroom, by clicking on Share to…

4. Click Google Classroom

5. A browser window opens. The student must choose the class.

6. Then choose the assignment and click Go

7. Then the student must click on Attach to send his project

8. Once the project is attached, the student needs to click on View Assignment to finalize the hand in

9. A new window opens from Google Classroom. The student can write comments and then click on Hand In

10. Then the student confirms hand in

11. Once the student confirms, the project is sent to the teacher. Now the teacher can see the submission. The student can also withdraw her project if she wants to
