MD/MS/Diploma MD/ MS/Diploma is the most commonly chosen path after MBBS for people who wish to continue with their medical career. Diploma of National Board(DNB) This is the second best option for MBBS graduate to pursue continuing with their dreams of becoming a specialist doctor. DNB is a postgraduate diploma course offered by the National board of Examinations, and recognised by the MCI. Though there are a few problems with DNB. Firstly, the passing rate in DNB is very low, depending on your course and hospital from which you complete your course..

DNB… Secondly, many hospitals give preference to MD/MS candidates than DNB candidates. Thirdly, DNB course is provided mostly in private hospitals where the amount of exposure is less than govt. hospitals, especially in surgical branches Stipend Starts from 30000-60000Rs/Month. For some, getting recruited through UPSC is of utmost priority considering the esteem, repute, and honor associated with UPSC jobs. It is a good option if you want a permanent job with the government and if you like to be a part of the administrative work force of the hospital.

MBA The demand for Doctor's with an MBA degree is increasing overwhelmingly, with many private hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. Due to this increase in demand many MBA institutions are absorbing doctors in their programs. Institutes offering MBA like IIM's, FMS Delhi, IBS Hyderabad, MDI Gurgaon , XLRI Jamshedpur absorb students based on merit list of CAT exam held every year. Stipend 0 RS/Month

Many institutes like AIIMS, PGI, NIMHANS, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai (TIFR) offer a Ph.D. degree. Stipend Starts from 30000-60000Rs/Month. In Some Private College-0 RS/Month

Masters in Health Administration(MHA) It is a 3 year post-graduate degree(M.D.) in Health Administration which helps medical students to acquire the skills required in managing big specialty hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, etc. This is a career option that paybacks in loads. Medical Superintendent , Director, Hospital Manager & Dean should have this degree

M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering and Biological Sciences MBBS graduates can go for another option that is different from attending patients and that option is opting for M. Tech. It is offered in the IIT's for students who want to pursue their careers in inventing medical machines, developing machines and instruments to provide better health care.

Medical Transcription Although no one wants to become medical transcriptionist after completing MBBS but still this is an option. Here you are transcribing medical records dictated by doctors in an audio format into a written text. They are basically medical records that include reports, history and other details.

A MBBS graduate has sound knowledge of medical vocabulary hence he/she can easily become a transcriptionist. You also need good listening and language skills. You can easily find a job.

IAS/ IPS EXAM IAS is a more comfortable life than MD(I could be wrong). There are no emergencies(there are, but much less compared to MD), and no one is going to call you in the middle of the night telling that there is an emergency, at least 15 times a month.

IAS/IPS PREP… Start with 2 nd prof take medicine or geography or pub ad optional, that is best suited focus on newspaper discussion from the hindu , current affairs etc These days we can use online resources to boost our prep, without need for coaching, free of cost, and in a short amount of time UPSC CSE requires a graduation degree from a registered college/university and thats it. It has nothing to do with your graduation. You can read some basic books(NCERT), can join class if you have time and can afford, go through syllabus
