This presentation discusses the minor Signs of the Day of Judgement, leading up to major signs. This includes the coming of the Dajjal (the Anti-Christ), Yajooj and Majooj (God and Magog), the Return of Prophet Isa (Jesus), the destruction of the Kaaba, the great landslides and the coming of the beast.

Birth/Death of the Prophet
&
The Splitting of the moon
Sahaba fighting
The Prophet predicted that after his death:
“Two groups with the same goal will fight one another..
One of them will be closer to the truth”
“Muslims will kill each other-our Ummah will be divided”
This was hard to imagine at a time with the Muslims
were few, and all working together to defeat the
enemies of Islam and spread the religion of Allah to the
surrounding areas.
The Prophet’s prediction came to play with the Battle of
Siffeen/Battle of Jamal: Sunni & ShiaaConflict.
Unfortunately, Muslims killing Muslims is still happening
around the World today.
The coming of the Prophet is the first sign.
The Prophet lived 1400 years ago, but that’s not
a long time if you compare it to how long humans
have been on Earth(at least 40,000 years).
Muhammad was the last Prophet and thus, he
came towards the end of times.

5. Death of the Sahaba
Minor Signs
Years later, the Prophet’s
prediction came to play
when Abu Bakr (RA)
would die a natural death
and Umarand Uthman
(RA) were killed by the
enemies of Islam.
During the Battle of Uhud,
the Prophet, along with
Abu Bakr , Umar and
Uthman, climbed to the
top of the mountain. The
mountain shook, and the
Prophet ordered it to be
still : “ Be still. On you
stands a Prophet, a
trustworthy one, and two
Shuhadaa (martyrs).

6. Defeat of
Roman Empire
Minor Signs
The prophet predicted something that was unthinkable
at the time and would happen hundreds of years after
his death.
The Turks were nomads who had no land.
They rose to become the Sultans of the Muslim
World-creating the Ottoman Empire,-the greatest
empire of it’s time, taking Constantinople as it’s capital.

Rise of the Turks
For thousands of years, the Romans ruled over
Constantinople-creating an empire that was
the most powerful of the time.
The Prophet predicted that in a few years, this
empire would be defeated. This was
something nobody could imagine but came
true when the Persian Empire took over.

Competing in tallest buildings
Minor Signs
Saudi Arabia will be green again.
Forests will replace deserts
The Arabian Peninsula was the most
backward region when it came to
infrastructure.
No libraries, universities, government
buildings –Definitely no tall
skyscrapers.
Today, the people of Dubai, who were
shepherds and nomads (living in tents)
are competing in building
the tallest buildings in the World.
“The Hour will not come until the
Land of the Arabs turns lush with
forests and rivers.”
This prediction would have been hard
for the Sahaba to imagine, as they lived
in the dry deserts of Arabia.
However, this prediction is coming true,
as these lands are becoming
more and more green as the years pass.

Fancy but empty Mosques
Shopping centers
everywhere
The Prophet (S) advised us to keep our
mosques simple, so we don’t get
distracted from our prayer.
Today’s Mosques have lavish
chandeliers, carpets, and gold plating.
The worst calamity is that the Masajid
are empty of worshippers, and in parts
of the World, are built “for show”.

In old Arabia there were a few
marketplaces among the homes where
people set up goods for sale.
Everywhere you look today, there are
malls and plazas.
We even have online shopping that
brings products to our doorsteps at the
press of a button!
This is an indication of the love of the
Dunya.

9. Minor Signs
Riches in the Ummah
Killing will increase, and
Thousands killed at once.
Our Ummah will be tested with wealth.
Look how our lands are packed with
natural resources like oil and natural
gas. The World is fighting
over our lands because of these riches.
The Prophet made this prediction at a
time when he slept on a bed of straw,
and never ate to his fill..
When many Sahaba didn’t have more
than 2 pieces of clothing to wear.
The Prophet predicted that the
World would reach a point where
the killed will not know why he
was killed.
Look at the mass shootings in
schools and public places. Look
at the senseless wars where
innocent people are killed for
crimes they didn’t commit.
During the Prophet’s time, killing
could only take place in an
altercation between two
individuals. Today’s technology
allows thousand to be killed by
the press of a button!

10. Minor Signs
Increase of music
Slave girl gives birth to
her master
There will be widespread disobedience
among children, so that a child will
treat his mother the same way a
master treats his slave woman–
with negligence and insults.
The Prophet predicted:
“People will be bobbing their heads to only they can hear.”
The Sahaba didn’t understand what this meant, but today we
have the technology that brings this prediction to play!
During the Prophet’s time, music was heard by the use of
instruments, during celebrations .
Today music is everywhere: in cars, in malls, on our headphones
as we walk down the street.

11. Increase in obesity
Increase in Natural
Disasters
The Prophet predicted that earthquakes,
tornadoes,floods and storms will increase .
Human pollution has causedclimate change that
has brought an increase in natural disasters.
We are suffering those affects today.
If you go back 500 years, 1,000 years,
nobody was overweight. The lifestyle of
the people was very active (gathering
food, building homes, defending your land)
Obesity did not exist in any land, among
any of the people.
Today it is a global trend, as the Prophet
predicted. Today’s sedentary lifestyle,
and the spread of fast-food chains and
unhealthy eating habits has affected our
health.
Islam doesn’t encourage being overweight,
as it is an indicator or gluttony, laziness
and lack of self-control.

12. Minor Signs
A journey of a few
days in a few hours
Increase in literacy,
But decrease in knowledge & truthfulness.
During the Prophet’s time, many of the Arabs
were illiterate.
The Prophet (S) predicted that even though the
future would bring more literacy, humanity
would lose knowledge.
This is happening today. Even though
knowledge can be found with the click of a
button:
-The Death of Scholars
-The use of programs like
(AI/Photoshop/Social Media) that mix truth &
lies.
-People closing their eyes to the truth.
-People redefining truth to suit their
agendas
This prediction came at a time when it took
days or weeks to travel from city to city.
Who would have thought that humans would
one day have modes of travel that shortened
these journeys to just a few hours??

13. Illegal promiscuity
Women will be dressed, but naked
During the Prophet’s time,
any woman who respected
herself and came from a noble
family, did not engage in
shameless acts.
This was part of the Arab
culture-women couldn’t imagine
acting in such a way.
Look at the World we will live in
today where promiscuity is
practiced by 70% of teens!
The clothing of today allows one to be
dressed while showing all their body
parts at the same time.
If you look at TV shows or magazines
from only 50 years ago, the women
dressed modestly. Even Hollywood
was monitored from scenes of
affairs, indecent acts, or drug use.
Today, even the Disney channel isn’t
safe to watch.

14. Illegitimate children
Increase
Appearance of new diseases
-Promiscuity has spread AIDS and other STDs.
-New diseases like COVID
-World travel allows for diseases to spread.
-This is a result of the
increase in promiscuity.
-Innocent children will
pay the price of
irresponsible and
unethical adults.

times adultery leads to
abortion.

15. Minor Signs
Men and women
Become interchangeable
Increase in homosexuality
The Prophet
predicted that
homosexuality will
increase and that it
the realityweare
living today-even
on a governmental
level
(Ex: Same-sex
marriage laws)
The Prophet made
this prediction at a
time when the
Sahaba could not
imagine how one
could change their
gender.

16. Men will wear gold and silk
Increase in Divorce
The Prophet (S) lived in a time
when men were strong,
courageous, and dressed like
warriors. He forbade men from
wearing silk and gold, which are
attributed to women, and not
befitting to the masculinity and
dignity of men.
He predicted that a time would
come when this would become the
norm. We are living that time today.
While divorce is allowed
in Islam, it was not a
common practice in
ancient Arabia.
Today we are seeing a
50-60% divorce rate for
married couples.

17. Minor Signs
Time passes quickly
The Prophet (S) predicted:
“The hour shall not arrive until
time is constricted: Ayear will
feel like a month, a month like a
week, aweek like aday, aday
like an hour, and an hour like
the flare of the fire.
The rapid passing of time could
mean that we have lost the
barakah (blessing) of time.
Instead of being able to
achieve a great deal in a day,
or a month or year, we will feel
like time will be running through
our fingers.
This is easy to imagine now when we
can easily waste 4-5 hours a dayon
Netflix or just scrolling aimlessly on
our phones.

18. Minor Signs
The most ignorant of the
people will lead them
People fight for the opportunity
to lead, even though they are not
fit to do so.
After the death of the Prophet,
the Sahaba and those that
followed them, shied away from
leadership because they
understood how heavy of a
responsibility it was.
In order for a community to thrive, the
most wise and ethical among them
should lead them.
Unfortunately, today we see that our
leaders do not meet these standards!

19. The Euphrates River
will dry up and
uncover a mountain
of gold.
The Prophet predicted:
"The Hour will not occur until
the Euphrates dries up,
uncovering a mountain of gold
over which people will fight.”

20. Last Minor Sign
The Appearance of the MAHDI
Madhimeans the guided one.
There are over 20 ahadeethabout him.
He is someone who will become guided over night.
He isn’t a religious person, but something happens that changes him.
Nobody will predict that he is the awaited Mahdi.
When he appears, the World will be full of injustice –a dark, depressing place.
When it looks like there is no hope, he will emerge as a source of light.
“The Day of Judgment will not occur until a
person from my family appears. He will
have the same name as mine and his
father’s name will be the same name as my
father’s name. He will spread justice on
Earth just as injustice would be spread on
Earth before his appearance.”

21. -Mahdi will be raised in Medina.
-An event will occur which causes him to flee to Mecca for
protection.
-Once there, when he is between the black stone and Rukun
Ibraheem, people rush to him and allege their loyalty to him –
declaring him the Mahdi.
-Nearby governments will try to kill him but will be destroyed.
-Mahdi will lead the Muslims for 7years.
-One day people will wake up to the news:
“DAJJAL HAS COME!
DAJJAL HAS COME!”

MAJOR SIGNS

22. Major Sign #1:
Al-Dajjal
-AKA: The Anti-Christ
(Isa is Maseeh, so Dajjal is Al-Maseeh AL-Dajjal
-Dajjal means liar/deceiver/someone who mixes lies with truth.
-He will tell some that he is Isa, and that he is God.
-The Jews appoint him as their leader.
-He will be on Earth for 40 days and will move as fast as the wind, visiting
every city except Mecca and Medina.
He will not be allowed to enter them.
When he tries to do so, the Angels will guard the cititesand
keep him out.
Many people will flee to these cities to seek protection from him.
He has a deformity in one
eye, and the word KAFIR
on his forehead that only
the Muslims can see.

23. Dajjal Shakes our Faith
Dajjal will come and bring with him many trials!
He will stop food and water from coming to anyone who
does not believe that he is God.
He will kill people, and bring the dead back to life in front of
people’s’ eyes. He will perform many miracles that will
cause some people to follow him.
He will walk with a fire and a river to his side, throwing
people inside based on their belief or rejection in him.
70,000 Jews will follow him and they will form an army with
his leadership.
The Prophet warned us:
“If you are alive when the Dajjal appears, do not go near him. If he
comes to you, read the first 10 Ayat of Surah Al-Kahfto be
protected from him.”

25. As Dajjal roams the Earth causing
corruption, the Mahdi will be in Syria getting
ready to pray Fajrin Jamaa’ with a large
group of Muslims.
Just before the start of Salah, the people will
look up to the sky, near a white minaret and
see Prophet Isa (AS) descending upon them
grabbing on to the wings of two angels.
When P.Isadescends, he will pray behind the
Mahdi.
Soon after, the Mahdi dies. Major Sign #2:

26. Meanwhile, Dajjal is avoiding Prophet Isa.
After being denied entrance into Medina, he
hides with his army of Jews behind the
Mountain of Uhud.
They camp out there.
3 Earthquakes hit Medina..
Every non-believer and hypocrite will flee,
being captured by the Dajjal.
Only Muslims will remain safely in Medina.

27. Dajjal then runs to Quds to Masjid Al-Aqsa.
There he will find that all the Muslims are
preparingto defend themselves from his
arrival.
Dajjal will be surprised to find that this group
of people have formed an army with P. Isa as
their leader!
Dajjal and P. Isa meet face to face!
The False Messiah and the Real Messiah!
The army of Jews and the army of Muslims.
Dajjalruns away, but
P. Isa and his army chase after him.
P. Isa touches Dajjal with his sword and Dajjal
melts in front of everyone’s eyes.

Dajjal is dead.
Isa rules the WORLD for 40 years.
40 years of Justice
40 years of Peace
Isa destroys the cross and kills the pig as a symbol
of the Islamic rule, and destruction of Shirk.
P. Isa is the Imam on Earth.
Everyone believes in him.
You can’t NOT believe after what you have seen.
Everything is peaceful for 40years, until…..

Yajouj& MajoujAppear
(Gog & Magog)
Jewish View:
Their Messiah (our Dajjal)
will come to fight these two
groups and lead the Jews
to rule the World.
Christian View:
Gog is a person and Magog is
a place. Russia will lead a war
against Israel, will be deceived
by Satan and destroyed by
God.
Unlike Mahdi who is only
mentioned in the
Ahadeeth,
Y & M are mentioned in
the Quran in Surat Al-Kahf
& Surat Al-A7zab.

30. The Story:
There was a righteous King named ThulQarnayn-“The one of 2 horns”
Allah had given him power over almost the whole World.
Allah had given him the knowledge of everything.
His journey was documented in the Quran, beginning with his travels to the lands of
the far East. He passed by an uncivilized land he had never come across.
The people were desperate.
They were awed by the might of his army, and his intellect.
They asked him for help.
“We are facing a huge evil! Protect us! Help us build a wall to protect us from them.”
ThulQarnayn agreed to build the
wall for them. He protected them
From the evil Y&M.
اَّنِإاَّنَّكَمۥُهَليِفاِضۡرَۡلۡٱاُهََٰنۡيَتاَءَونِماِ لُكاَشا ءۡياٗبَبَس
نَأاَلَعۡجَتاَنَنۡيَباۡمُهَنۡيَبَواٗ دَس
But who are they??

31. They are a race of savages.
They are humans (from Bani Adam)
They are not supernatural, but their quantity is astronomical!
For every one of us, there is 1,000of them.
They are described as having flat faces and yellow skin-
Asian characteristics.
They will raid, kill and
loot everything and
everyone in every
part of the Earth.
We won’t fight them-
they’re unfightable.
They will eat all the food
and crops of the Earth and
drink all the water.
They will drink from the
Sear of Galeliawhich has
been providing water for
the last 3000 years,
and they will drink is dry.

32. Y& M are mentioned in many Ahadeeth
The Prophet S:
“Woe to the Arabs from
an evil that is
approaching!
Today a small hole has
been made in the wall
that holds back Y&M.”
The Prophet (S):
“Everyday Y&M try to dig
themselves out from behind
the wall. But every night, an
angel closes it back up.
When Allah allows it, they will
be released.
They will come from every
place on Earth.”

33. Where are they now? Why can’t we see them?
They are now part of the unseen world.
It’s like asking:
-Where is Heaven?
-Where is hell?
-Where is my soul?
Years ago if you told someone: “One
day people will fly inside of hundreds
of tons of metal”, they would have
thought you were crazy. It was
unimaginable, but today it is fact.
We don’t have to comprehend it.
Allah can do anything. It’s ok to not be able to
imagine something but still accept it as fact.
That’s why it’s called “faith”..

34. What Will Happen to Yajooj& Majooj?
Yajoojand Majoojwill then begin
arrogantly shooting arrows up into the
sky, claiming that they have killed
everyone on Earth and will now kill the
inhabitants of the heavens.
P. Isa and his followers will
be among the few survivors.
They will be hiding in a cave
and making duaa for safety.

35. Allah will then send a bug that infects their necks
and they will all die together in one instant.
Their corpses will be all over the Earth. Allah will
send large birds to take their corpses and
dispose of them.
Allah will then send a heavy rain that cleanses the
Earth and brings forth new life on Earth, crops
and water.
The Earth will experience a long period of
peace. The people who saw the worst of it,
will enjoy the many blessings that are to
come. P. Isa dies and returns to the Earth
like every son of Adam.

36. Note:
We do not know for sure the exact order in which the following Major
Signs will occur.
There are different interpretations and variations among the
scholars, and we should not be overly concerned with the sequence.
The emphasis should be on the fact that the signs are a warning of the
Day of Judgment and a manifestation of the power of Allah (S).
A reminder that life is fleeting and we should be preparing to meet Him.

37. Major Sign #: 5
The Coming of The Beast
The coming of the Dabbah(beast) is mentioned in Surah Al-
Naml, but we know very little about it.
Allah mentions that it will come out of the Earth and speak to
the people-blaming them for not believing in Allah’s signs.
It marks people as “Believer” and “Non-Believer.”
There is no repentance after this.
َرْخَا ْمِهْيَلَع ُلْوَقْلا َعَقَو اَذِاَو َنِِّم ًةَّبۤاَد ْمُهَل اَنْج
َك َساَّنلا َّنَا ْمُهُمِِّلَكُت ِضْرَْلْا ْوُي َلْ اَنِتييياِب اْوُنا َنْوُنِقࣖ
Christian View:
The Beast is the devil in the form
of a man. He will be branded
with the number 666,
which is the sign of the devil.
Jewish View:
The Beast will come carrying
the staff of Musa and
wearing the ring of Suliman.

38. Major Sign #: 6
The Wind
After seeing the miracles of the past few years, some people will stray away from faith.
Allah will send a light breeze that takes the souls of all the believers.
At this point, only the most evil and corrupt people live on Earth.
No human on Earth will know a single Ayah of the Quran. The Quran disappears from the face of the Earth.
No human being will know
This is when Sign #6arrives. A strong wind that comes from the region of Yemen.

39. At this time the Destruction of the
Kaaba will occur.
A group from Ethiopia will destroy
the Kaaba and nobody will worship
there again.

40. Major Sign #: 7
The Great Smoke
The Great Smoke is mentioned in Surat
Al-Dukhan. This is a smoke that will
encompass the entire Earth
And affect all of mankind.
ٍنيِبُّم ٍناَخُدِب ُءاَمَّسلا يِتْأَت َمْوَي ْبِقَتْراَف
َساَّنلا ىَشْغَي ٌميِلَأ ٌباَذَع اَذيـَه

41. Major Sign #: 8
The 3 Great Landslides/Sink Holes
One in the East, one in the West and one in the Arabian Peninsula

42. Major Sign #: 9
The Sun Rises from the West
No repentance will be accepted after this point.
Many miracles and warnings had already come
to the people.
This is the first sign of the destruction of the
Universe-no point in accepting faith at this
time, because the World
as we know it, would soon come to an end.

43. Major Sign #:10
The Fire
The Great fire forces people to flee as a group towards the same location.
It moves when they move.
It stops when they stop.
It directs them towards Ard Al-Mahshar-the land of resurrection.
Every human alive on Earth will be in one location together.
We believe this will be somewhere in Bilad Al-Sham.
This is where everything will end.
This is where the last sign will take place….

44. The Trumpet Blows
With everyone gathered in one place, the trumpet will be
blown by Angel Israfeel.
People turn to face the direction of the sound.
As they turn, they begin to fall to the ground one by one.
Every human will die.
Every animal will die.
Every living creature with a soul will die-even the Angels.
The sound will be so horrendous, that the
mountains begin to crumble, the oceans explode
and sky rips apart-stars and planets colliding.
One long, single sound that continues until
everything perishes.

45. From the moment the Earth was created, Angel Israfeelhas been holding the
Trumpet to his lips, waiting for an order from Allah.
Allah asks: “Who is left?”
The Angel of death replies: “Just me, Israfeeland you, Allah”.
Allah will order the Angel of death to take the life of Angel Israfeel.
Allah asks: “Who is left?”
The Angel of death replies: “Just you and me Allah”.
Allah then orders the Angel of death to take his own life, so he does.
Allah asks: “Who is left?”
But nobody responds.
There is nothing left.
Only Allah, the Creator and King of all the things.
And the Day of Judgment will begin…..
