2. ABOUT US
Mayur Baug at Chincholi Morachi is managed by Jai Malhar Krushi
Paryatan Kendra. The activities of the Kendra have been envisioned by
Adv. Shri Devram Gorde, ex Sarpanch of the village Chincholi
Morachi. He could foresee the possibility of implementing agri tourism
in the already famous village. Till date people were visiting Chincholi
only on the basis of word-of-publicity. Adv Shri Gorde took the
initiative and after considerable discussions with the villagers set up a
plan to develop the village for rural and agri tourism. He was able to
garner support of all villagers to develop the 25 acres of Tamarind
woods into a sanctuary for the Pride of India – the Peacock.
