Digital education trends refer to developments
and changes in the way education is delivered,
accessed, and implemented by utilizing digital
technology.
MULTILINGUAL
EDUCATION’S ADVANTAGE
Improved Academic Performance
Multilingual students often
perform better academically,
especially in subjects like math
and reading comprehension. Their
enhanced cognitive abilities and
cultural awareness contribute to
their success in various academic
areas.
Brain Plasticity
Research suggests that learning
languages can promote brain
plasticity, the brain's ability to
adapt and change throughout life.
This means that even adults can
benefit from learning new
languages, not just children.
MULTILINGUAL EDUCATION’S DISADVANTAGE
LINGUISTIC
CHALLENGES:STUDENTS MAY
STRUGGLE WITH MULTIPLE
LANGUAGES, LEADING TO
CONFUSION OR SLOWER
PROGRESS.
SOCIAL STIGMA:SPEAKING
CERTAIN LANGUAGES MAY BE
STIGMATIZED, AFFECTING
PARTICIPATION.
RESOURCE INTENSIVE:REQUIRES
QUALIFIED MULTILINGUAL
TEACHERS AND SPECIALIZED
MATERIALS, WHICH CAN BE
COSTLY.
THERE ARE A LOT OF SCHOOLS IN KAZAKHSTAN
WHERE TEACHING AND LEARNING TAKES PLACE IN
TWO OR MORE LANGUAGES. SINCE WE KNOW THAT
BEFORE 1991, KAZAKHSTAN WAS PART OF THE
USSR, WHICH AFFECTED MY EDUCATION IN OUR
SCHOOLS. ACCORDING TO STATISTICS TAKEN
FROM THE INTERNET, WE FOUND THAT BY 2020,
100% OF OUR POPULATION SPEAKS KAZAKH, 95%
RUSSIAN AND 25% ENGLISH.

It's aimed at promoting proficiency in Kazakh,
Russian, and other minority languages to
preserve cultural heritage and ensure equal
opportunities for all students. Policies often
prioritize the teaching of Kazakh as the state
language while recognizing the importance of
other languages in national identity and
education. Our state supports such training and
introduces new technologies and gadgets to
meet the needs of the population.
DEFINITION OF
DIGITAL EDUCATION
Zhumabek Altynay
In my opinion, multilingual education has both good and
tough parts. It's great because it celebrates different
languages and cultures, helps us understand each other
better, and gives us useful language skills for a global world.
But it's also hard because it needs a lot of resources, the
curriculum can be complicated, and not everyone gets
equal access.
Looking ahead, multilingual education can make our world
more inclusive and connected. With new technologies like
AI helping us learn languages, we can overcome some
challenges. Being multilingual doesn't just show diversity; it
teaches us empathy and how to work well in a diverse
world.
Ibragimova Meruert:
In today's world, developing multilingual education
means schools and communities are working to teach
students in more than one language. This helps kids
learn about different cultures, communicate with
more people, and be ready for the global world
around them. In the future, multilingual education will
likely become more common as people recognize the
benefits of being proficient in multiple languages. It
will help students communicate with others from
different backgrounds, understand diverse cultures,
and succeed in a globalized world.
DEFINITION OF
DIGITAL EDUCATION
Zhaksylyk Merey
Looking ahead, I see multilingual education becoming
even more essential. With technological advancements
and increasing globalization, the ability to speak
multiple languages will be a key advantage in both
personal and professional spheres. As artificial
intelligence continues to evolve, the uniquely human
skill of language proficiency will become even more
valuable. In the future, multilingual individuals will be
well-equipped to navigate complex international
landscapes, collaborate on global projects, and thrive in
diverse cultural environments.

I believe that multilingual learning opens up new opportunities
for us and helps us in many industries. Thanks to multilingual
learning, students improve their skills in a particular language.
Also, we know that nowadays competitiveness is one of the most
important qualities for achieving a certain goal and proficiency in
several languages can become an advantage in the labor market.
Moreover, nowadays some nations are losing some of their
traditions due to a decrease in speakers of that language and
multilingual education can affect this process in a positive way.
And finally, we all know that knowing a language increases our
sensitivity to new things. We will expand our horizons and our
social circle.
