My Certificates For Extra Curricular Activities

Every time I shift house, I loose a lot of stuff including books, and certificates. The only stuff that stays, is the memories I make, and pretty much everything I save in a digital format. I am saving this compilation of all the certificates I saved since my school days. It is like a small deposit of memories in digital format.

3. Was awarded value award in Q1 2013 for creating easy to understand cost centre reports for Express
Stores that helped Tesco in controlling costs.

4. Tesco HSC Value Award FY 2013-14

Was given value award in FY 2013-14 for forecasting expenses, and helping UK
stakeholders in budgeting more accurately for FY 2014-15.

5. SBI Midnight Marathon

Completed 5k Marathon along with the company’s team for the event.

Volunteered to organize the event on climate change awareness conducted by British Council in
Manipal Institute of Communication in Jan 2011

8. Organized The Nammangadi Sale Event

As a part of the event management project at Manipal Institute of Communications, I helped organize the
sales, and exhibition of Nammangadi products in April 2011. The three-day event facilitated the sale of the
handicrafts made at Namma Bhoomi, an NGO for working children which provides vocational training ,
and education to empower underprivileged, and orphaned children.

9. Participated in College level Elocution Competitions

I secured the first place in the college level elocution competition held at MGM College, Udupi
organized by the Forum of Free Enterprise in August, 2008. The topic given was, ‘ Energy Crisis In
India’.

10. Conducted Case Analysis Event

Organized the ‘Case Analysis’ event for ‘Comfest’-08 in MGM College, Udupi in January, 2009.

11. Represented college for science seminars

Was a responsible member of the two member team that won the first place in the ‘Science Seminar’ event
at ‘Alva’s Manifest’-09, Alva’ s college, Moodibidri in February,2009. Our topic was biomedical warfare.

Our 4-member team won the first place in the ‘Cooking without fire’ event at ‘Alva’s Manifest’-09, Alva’ s
college, Moodibidri in February,2009. I was in charge of plating the dishes.

13. Intercollegiate Writing Events

Won the first place in the ‘Pen and Presentation’
event for the ‘Prajnafest’-08, held in Poorna
Prajna College, Udupi in December, 2008.

14. Intercollegiate Marketing Events

Been a responsible member of the team that
won the second place in the ’Marketing’ event &
the first place in the ‘ Icebreaker event’ for
‘Prajnafest’-08. The product to market was a
luxury watch.
