A STUDY TO INVESTIGATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STUDENTS LEARNING THROUGH GROUP ACTIVITIES AT PRIMARY LEVEL IN DISTRICT LAHORE BY SYEDA ALINA TAHIR & RUKHSAR TARIQ SUPERVISOR MARIYA JAVAID VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY OF PAKISTAN

Introduction Group work can be a helpful technique to inspire students, give confidence energetic knowledge, and build up answer critical-thinking, message, and decision-making skills. Teamwork promotes problem-solving to get an ordinary objective. In group learning, participants cooperate to achieve common objectives and to benefit from one another's and their own learning.

Problem Statement In light of these concerns, the goal of this investigation is to conduct a meta-analysis to look at how group learning affects student achievement and the function of other associated moderators.

Objectives of the study The purpose of this study is to look at the efficacy of students learning through group activities at primary level in district Lahore. Research Questions This study deals with the following research question: • What is the effectiveness of students learning through group activities at primary level in district Lahore?

Methodology This research is Quantitative in nature. A questionnaire based was used as a research tool which helped in data collection. The selection of participants was done randomly. 85 Female students and 75 male students participated in the Questionnaire

Data analysis Each item's percentage is derived separately after a descriptive analysis of the data. Analysis was done based on the data collected both from male and female students.

Findings There are 85% students are agree in group activities and 15% students are disagree in group activities. The result is that all students will be agreeing in group studies. Find positive result from this Research.

Population of the Study The population of study consist of primary-level students of KIPS School Canal Lahore. Research sample The sample consist of 160 students of Kips School Campus from grade 3, 4 and 5 learning English with different proficient levels. Research instrument The close ended questionnaire is used as a research instrument. A Likert scale with five options.

Results Results obtained from Students % of Students

Conclusion The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of activity-based learning on student achievement. The results provide evidence for this policy’s positive impact On students’ academic performance. This document's implications cover a number of topics related to how educators might profit from the learning's conclusions.

Recommendations This study has contributed to an understanding that how activity-based learning effective on student achievement.
